I remember watching this in middle school. Thanks for the flashback, it is prescient, considering Obama's coming victory.

Aside from the Trilateral tutelage, there is the positive side to my Obama ambivalence which also includes a familiar foreboding case of the heebie-jeebies. The aftermath of a democratic victory will bring about the demise of the neo-cons and their propaganda power position within the Military Industrial Complex. This will be retribution for the deceitful and opportunistic clawing their way into that prestigious insider post, at the expense of Bill Clinton with their smear campaign - The Clinton Chronicles. Billly wouldn't play with them nor entertain their megalomaniacal paranoid dis-[world]-order. The neo-cons vision of 'darkness' will "not go gentle into that good night" however, they have currently scattered themselves throughout the media airwaves camouflaged as 'objective' political commentators in an offensive blitz campaign for survival. We have seen enough 'War on Terror' docs to know how effective their angelic soft-spoken commonsensical fair-minded 'performance art' can mask the reality of their mendacious malevolent madness. It leaves me nauseous - an eerie inkling of something's gonna got to give and an even eerier inkling someone's gonna got to get it!

The neo-con PR manipulation has been extremely successful, generating enormous record bombing ‘corporate’ profits with their ‘booming’ war on terror - could the MIC tolerate the possibility of letting go. Their advomentary ‘Hillary: The Movie’ illustrates my trepidation with regard to the depth of the neo-con’s vicious manipulations. It was an intentional orchestration to deliberately undermine and eliminate Hillary as the democratic candidate (along with her ensuing wrath) and therefore positioning Obama as the [nominated!] opposition to McCain in the upcoming presidential campaign. To underline this advomentary angle further. Citizens United (aka neo-cons) lost their court battle over advertisements for Hillary: The Movie. A Federal District Court ruled that the group could not air advertisements without attaching a disclaimer and disclosing their donor list. Claims that the film should be treated as a documentary prompted "outright laughter from the judges".

And so, the principal players are in place and the stage has been ‘set-up’ - only to have John-how many homes-McCain take the count, kayoed. The MIC’s ante has been eaten up! Can Palin put things extremely Right?...lets all sing along :
“Hey! there , Hi! there, Ho! there
Who’s the leader of the insider’s club
That’s not made for you and me

I wasn't aware that "Hillary: The Movie" was an effort of the Neo Conservatives. Honestly, I hadn't watched it, but I'm not surprised. I found this alleged Mccaine campaign memo on wikileaks:
http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Divide_and_conqu...n_from_Obama%3F
It would certainly tie in to an overall agenda to focus the American electorate on race and sex in the election, and as you put it so well, "The neo-con PR manipulation has been extremely successful".

Should Obama win, I can imagine that the Neo-Con leadership will be scapegoated (and for every mistake, flaw and blemish Americans can imagine) but what do you imagine will become of their kingdom in the 4th estate (Fox News et al)? Will it simply fade away, for lack of direction, or will it be absorbed into a Zbrinsky-esque Neo-Liberal model of public relations? A democratic victory in the Presidential Elections will not, in and of its self, eradicate "Fair and Balanced" news, nor the American desire for it. I for one am not particularly looking forward to another four years of the American Electorate trusting the same, corrupt, fascist, imperialistic and all around inhuman system, simply because it has a new cast of characters. I am of course speaking of an Obama white house and Pelosi lead Congress, but the same could be applied to nearly any potential CEO of The US Corporation. I assure you, it will be business as usual.

MIC - Military Industrial Complex

Wow, your ‘scapegoating’ rationale is right on! Gone with the neo-cons in the name of ‘healing’. Unkie’s ‘underground’ analogies of the current american situation with Carter’s democratic presidency are sounding even more astute. Vietnam / watergate called for the need for “an attempt to recapture the disillusioned citizenry” (Zinn). This was also the first appearance from Trilateral [personal agenda] Brzezinski, who was very busy throughout the ‘distractions’ within the Carter administration, transforming corporations into trans-nationals. I’m wondering, golly gee, do corporations compete amongst themselves..are the Carlyle Group and the Trilateral Commission on different teams? The business of governance is big business as usual.

The media is only a ‘tool’ - would you be willing to throw that ‘baby’ out with the bath
water.

Brzezinski- Thank you, I can never spell that assholes name correctly. As for throwing out the baby and the bathwater- I say fuck "the Media" and the horse it rode in on. Lets get all those 'over the hill' Fox viewers online, decentralize journalism, and reward guerrilla journalists who stray away from corporate endorsement, by donating frequently to their PayPal accounts, through their (hopefully privately run) blogs or websites.
Sure, plenty of said journalists would be full of crap, but in the long run a sort of expertise and ethos would develop amongst them, because the bullshitters would lose financial support and audience.
That is how it would go down in my perfect world.
