((if ya heard it.. stfu!! unless you're one of those stupids that couldn't figure it out.))

3 guys order a pizza for 10 dollars each. 30 dollars.
somebody made an error.. the actual price of the pizza was 25 dollars so the pizza boy was instructed to return 5 dollars.
the pizza boy thought to himself, "lets make this even." and kept 2 dollars returning to the 3 guys 1 dollar each. 3 dollars.
so if they each received change of 1 dollar that would mean they paid 9 dollars each.
9 dollars multiplied by 3 = 27 dollars.
if they paid 27 dollars and the delivery boy has the 2 dollars that's 29 dollars.
where is the missing 1 dollar???

The $5 change has bin divided up four ways.
But then you've only multiplyed their change back up by three & added in the thieving cunts share.
If the little bastard had just give em all $1.67 (Well, technically $1.6666666667 etc..) you are then dividing & multiplying by three, & hey-presto, the missing $1 returns.

$10 - $1.67 = $8.33
($8.33 x 3 = $24.99) + ($1.67 x 3 = $5.01) = $30

This is incorrect, the $27 INCLUDES the $2 tip. $25 for the pizza + $2 for the tip is $27. Divide that by 3 and its $9 each - no missing dollar, the riddle is just stupid wink.gif

Its an illusion within the mathes, They paid 30, got 5 back for the cost of the pizza, kept 3 and unknowingly gave two to the delivery boy. The $25 cost, plus the $3, plus the $2 equals $30.

Try this one then

A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?

lol wow.. that ironic.. i feel stupid now. lol sorry flyzer.
but, um actually no.. there is no complexity to this at all. no fractions and special math.

you can't add the 2 to the 27 that's lunacy.

the easiest way i can think of to explain it is to picture the 2 as a negative number. ..
its really hard to explain..

it is not however a "mathematical error.. or anomaly " like some reres say.

He said "My Kingdom is not of this world." You see the man was indeed Super Mario himself. The King decided to let him warp to his own world and Mario made his exit at the nearest green pipe.

Close but He said, "You'll sentence me to six years in prison." If it was true, then the judge would have to make it false by sentencing him to four years. If it was false, then he would have to give him six years, which would make it true. Rather than contradict his own word, the judge set the man free.

moral of the riddle Judges hate to be wrong.
