3x01 - Bad To The Drone

Henry is still in custody
Nathan & Allison reunite
Frances Fisher as Eva Thorne (The Fixer) is now in charge
DeathDealer
3x02 - What About Bob (knob)?

Atavism - de-evolution, how inventive. Poor guy went all snake on us. Carter & Allison had to go into the biosphere to investigate, only to find out that chic's online boyfriend set it all up out of jealousy.

Henry gets called in to consult as a hologram. Too cool.

Meanwhile, Lupo ends up being the one to tell the fixer that she's messing with the natural balance of Eureka, way to go Lupo.

In the end, they get snake man back to himself, Henry get's his sunset & his freedom & the fixer see's atomic testing from 1938, nice ending.

The rest of season one are best found here in the 56.com playlist.

Here are the missing season two episodes. It would be recommended to grab up 2x13 while it's still available via your slick trick, grin.

3x03 - Best In Faux

Too damn funny, homegrown Eureka diamonds implanted in robo-dogs. Alan Ruck gets in on the action as the mothballed geophysicist who gets a chance at redemption. Henry further explains the nuclear aspects of a certain land plot that the fixer has her eyes on. Sheriff Carter drives a wild machine into the earth to vent an impending geologic catastrophe. Funny episode involving a cool lava spewage scene near the end.

3x04 - I Do Over

Ground Hog Day Eureka style. Time casuality loop has Jack repeating the day of Allison & Nathans wedding. Nathan fixes it in the end & asks Jack to be sure to take care of Allison for him. He doesn't survive. Is this the end for a star character?

I Think He'll Come Back Somehow They'll Find A Way To Work Him Back In

Not as a live character anyways, grin.

3x05 - Show Me The Mummy

In an attempt to market an egyptian mummy tomb, the unsealing of which resurrects some ancient bugs that wreak havoc. The project leader & his assistant die of dehydration before Fargo's infection leads to a cure. Oddly, Sheriff Carter's sisters music acts as a pied piper to lead them into the Carpe Deim Cafe's nuclear fusion freezer where they get frozen to death.

Nathan makes an appearance to Dr. Blake in the form of a holograph programmed into the logic diamond he left for her. The message she sees from him at the end is rather fitting.

3x06 - Phased & Confused

How about that module that Fargo gave to Carter for voice activated transmission? And that whole Captain Eureka bit, wow, that guy might have a complex or two.

Zane to the rescue, in more ways than one. First by cracking the lock for The Fixer, then by finding the kids in the lost facility, until yahoo dum dum went & touched the panel after being told not to touch anything.

Putting Captain Eureka's phasing vest to use on Carter was a good trick, looked like it really hurt too. Good thing that Henry figured out how to stabilize the phasing in the end, woo hoo.

3x07 - Here Come The Suns

Can you imagine that? What starts out as politiking in Eureka (strange), turns into a nightmare of sorts, and by a 12 year old no less, shakes head & grins.

Nice how they wove that room 307 from the old 1930's lab into the story. And we get to find out more of how devious the fixer is about her classified project.

Luckily cloud-man's gig comes in handy & Zane gets to shine again as well by saving the day with Carter.

Henry as mayor, what a shocking ending, stunned.

3x08 - From Fear To Eternity

The Zoe containment thing was interesting, her DNA had somehow changed so S.A.R.A went crazy.

Cool how the instantanium goo got Joe & Zane stuck together.

Carter "Jacked" the fixer by calling the General, nice payback.

Zoe blindness, woah, caused by cataracts, premature aging, DNA change had something to do with it. Carter figures it out & goes down into the bunker to find a sample & gets trapped down there with the the fixer who is 107 years old, grin. Her story about Atomic testing in the 30's & element X that was used before plutonium was fascinating.

Joe & Zane got them out. While Henry figured out a way to save Zoe, there wasn't enough of the element left to fix the water supply. Then they figured out that there might've been an unfinished bomb left behind. Which Zane found & fixed to save the day for the town aquafer.

Henry takes the fixer to the bus station so she can escape from the General. Allison tells Carter she needs a birthing coach. And the General fires Carter for being responsible for letting the fixer get away. What an ending.

3x08 - From Fear To Eternity (...)

Whoo! Mid-season finale. My thoughts.

LovedLOVEDLOVED the whole S.A.R.A. turning on Zoe thing. Not as much as in the other episode (from season 1, where she REALLY turned psycho-killer with her uber-awesome deathly lasers and whatnot. What eppy was that, I can't remember...). Great times. As soon as Zoe mentioned that she's been feeling tired and woozy I thought: oh-oh. She's preggers. Daddy is going to go apeshit and finally off the boring-why-did-they-introduce-him-in-the-first-place-go-die-genious boyfriend. Yes. I hate Lucas.

Moving on.

Jo&Zane: *sigh* this is so boring. I'm a girl, and therfore girls+onscreen romances=awesome!aww!Iwanttocuddlethings. But not in this case.
I love Zane's character. He's the geeky bad-boy. Lupo = cool ass-kicking power chick. But this 'relationship' is so boring. It's like they've skipped the whole drama of dating and went straight from first date to comfortable-old-marriage. When did they have their first kiss? Did they even have one? I can't remember. *sigh*
When Jo shut him out because he froze I was like: Yeah! Drama! And then the cement-thingy was funny. But then he had to go and screw things up by making up. Ugh. Back to boring old couple again. I really think they should introduce them to the new love interests. Zane and Jo just don't do it for me. They've (writers) totally ruined the best from both individuals by pairing them up. Lupo is tamed, Zane just plain geeky. Where's the fire? Where's the spunk? Where's the mischief? I miss that.

Eva: I KNEW IT! I knew she was one of The Founders. But I was a bit off. I thought that one of the bodies was that of her husband - but brother? Don't really know where that came from, but OK. I am willing to go with it. The bomb being almost done was a bit too convinient - but I guess they had to wrap the episode somehow. Still, that didn't sit well with me.
Zane: "Give me a couple of hours and I will have it up and running" line had me huh.gif . I know he's a genious, but 70+ year old prototype of a bomb ready to use in a couple of hours? That was a bit of a stretch - even for Eureka standards.

Allison: Whoo! Preggers with mini!Nate. Unexpected. But in a good way. I wonder how Carter is going to cope with that.

Carter: Nothing but praise. I love every single line that comes out of that man's mouth. His delivery is spot on too. One of the best-written characters I've seen in a while. Kudos to the writers who come up with the stuff he spews. I am ROTFL every episode. But they fired him! WTF? Unexpected yet again.

In summary: I liked it. I'm not totally over the moon, but I've seen worse. Can't wait for the next eppy. It'll probably air sometime next year, knowing Sci-Fi. *sigh* Whoever thought that it'll be good for the show if they split the season in two, is a raging idiot.

yea I thought it was a good episode as well and in total agreement with your Carter critique, but dont worry there not gonna pull him out of the series like ya said to good of a character

Oh yeah, I'm not worried about that. He's the main character. That would be killing the show.
But then again, Stark was flawlessly written too - great chemistry with Carter, their banter MADE the show and look what happened. I read it somewhere that the actor who played Stark asked to be taken off the show. Why in the world - I have no idea. Eureka will never be the same without those two going at each other. They made the best on-screen duo. Every time they had a scene together I was ROTFL.
Now they are forcing Carter/Zane on us and it's so stiff I feel uncomfortable watching it. Don't get me wrong, I love both characters - SEPERATELY. They just don't click as a team. Carter/Fargo would have been a much better choice.
