I read where Jamie Noble got messed up pretty bad after his match on Raw last night. They never showed it on TV but he was tended to the whole time during the Y2J /Steamboat segment. Didn't sound too good.

yeah, they said they took him out on a stretcher.....havent seen anything yet today, but well find out the deal soon enough im sure...

Just read that he got a stinger but is feeling OK today.

WWE just sent out the following:

ARIZONA HOSTS WRESTLEMANIA® XXVI

Stamford, CT, February 24, 2009 -- The City of Glendale, Ariz., Global Spectrum and World Wrestling Entertainment® announced that the University of Phoenix Stadium will host WrestleMania XXVI on Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Glendale Mayor Elaine Scruggs, Arizona Cardinals' Coach Ken Whisenhunt and University of Phoenix Stadium General Manager Peter Sullivan joined WWE® Chairman Vince McMahon and several WWE Superstars and Divas in making the announcement today at a press conference at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

WWE's annual pop-culture extravaganza is a coveted event for any major city. The pay-per-view event will be televised to more than 100 countries. WrestleMania XXIV pumped $50 million into the local Orlando economy in 2008 and set the Citrus Bowl attendance record with 74,635 fans from all 50 states, five Canadian provinces and 21 countries.

This year's 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania will take place in Houston's Reliant Stadium on April 5th where it is expected to set the stadium attendance record.

Visitors from around the world are expected to travel to Arizona and participate in a week's worth of activities that will culminate with WrestleMania XXVI. Among the activities will be WrestleMania Axxess, WWE Hall of Fame, WrestleManiArt™ exhibition, Monday Night Raw®, and WrestleMania "Rocks the Block" street party. The University of Phoenix stadium was chosen after a year long bid process. This marks the first time the Glendale/Phoenix area has hosted WrestleMania.

For some reason, I already knew this but I can't for the life of me remember how. Didn't they announce this a long time ago?
nightingales
actually, i think it was just like a "finalist" type thing, rumored to be among a couple other places....i remember it too, and i believe back then, that was the case.....

RAW Thoughts: Loved the segment at the beginning of Raw with Cena and all, really funny. CM Punk winning the Money in the Bank match against Miz and Morrison was great. Seeing Miz and Morrison turn on each other made me very happy as well. Melina/Cryme Tyme vs. Phoneix/Santino/Ziggler was a good match. Santino getting pinned within a matter of seconds was funny and it was nice to see Ziggler back in the ring again, I think he should get a little push in WWE but, of course, it is up to Vince. HBK beating JBL made me very happy, he more than deserves to have a match with Undertaker, but now he has to verse Koslov for the honor which was unexpected. It will be interesting to see how that goes next week. Mike Knox defeating Noble in 25 seconds expected. It is good to hear he is ok, but now he needs to work on his wrestling skills, badly. Steamboat induction made me happy as well, until pompous-ass Jericho came out again and disses not only Steamboat but Rourke for not winning the Oscar. Oh I can't wait to see who will be the one to shut him up. Vickie bringing out Chavo to verse Cena was sad. She could have at least chose Big Show, but Chavo is not nearly as good of a wrestler as he use to be, in my opinion. The ending to Raw was fantastic. For a second when Orton said lets fight like men, I believed, but his little guard dogs (Rhodes and DiBiase) were definitely ready to attack. Loved the chasing and HHH breaking everything. Madman definitely suites him. Overall really good show.

ECW Thoughts: Mark Henry beating DJ stunk. I really like DJ, as I said before. Another wrestler I think needs a little push as well, he is a good wrestler and very entertaining. Him along with Alicia, I think, should start climbing the ladder more. Tyson Kidd vs. somebody was great. I am loving Tyson. Dreamer beating Burchill was nice. But I do want to know why Boogeyman is after Katie? I hope this means she is finally getting some sort of storyline. It may be with Boogeyman, but it is a start. Swagger still has the belt sad.gif, but we all know Christian will get it soon. I hope very very soon.

Lilian Garcia was given the night off from last nights RAW in Nashville as it would have been much too difficult for her to make it to the show on time due to SmackDown's tour of South America. She will be back for next week's show in Boston. SmackDown held shows in Mexico, Peru, and Chile over the weekend. Last night's show was held all the way in Santiago, Chile, so WWE went out of their way to have Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov work early on the show so they could catch an early flight to Nashville for RAW. On the other hand, Lilian had to stay the entire show to ring announce, so she was unable to make it to RAW on time. Lilian was brought on tour to handle the ring announcing as she is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish, which is quite beneficial for the live audience.

Night is correct Amar, but at this time, it's looking really shaky. So far they can't come to a deal and my buddy has no word on it further at this point.

That is sad about Shark Boy! First Hardy, now Shark Boy. Makes me want to put more insurance on my house!!!!

And here we go, here is today's WTF news.....and yes ladies and gentleman.....it's a good one,....

Edward Graziano, the father of Nick Hogan crash victim John Graziano, was arrested today for trying to solicit a hit man to kill his estranged wife.

According to police, Graziano told an undercover officer that he wanted to have his wife Debra killed - in an automobile accident. Graziano allegedly paid for the hit with $1,100 cash, a $1,000 personal check and (wait for it..) a $13.06 gift card to Westshore Pizza. Seriously. TampaBays10.com reports that the arrest is the culmination of a 2 1/2 month undercover investigation by the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigative Division.

Talk about some crazy whacked shit, there you have it!!!!!

You know what urbangiggles, with Victoria leaving, that leaves Lilian Garcia as the last original Diva in the WWE if you think about it. This can't be disputed as she was featured in the early Diva magazines that the WWE puts out ever year and is considered a Diva, even though all she does is ring announce. Just thought that was kind of interesting.

Also, keep in mind those by-rates reflect the recession that we are in as well, and considering that, they are pretty impressive numbers, even though they are down from the previous year. They are still making a good profit.

Got an e-mail from Schizo yesterday, he's having the time of his life in Florida at the moment. He told me he had already been to Universal, swam with the dolphins and was heading to Disneyland as well. He said he is behind a ways on wrestling and hasn't seen NWO yet and the shows surrounding it, so he has some catch up to do. He told me he loves it here and would love to stay here forever!!! laugh.gif I'm glad my buddy is having a great time. I think he deserves it as he works really hard in school and is an awesome contributor here, and is a good friend as well. Here's to you Schizo!!!!

Impact

well, looks like Lance is gone from TNA as well now. I'm really looking forward to seeing the continuation of the Angle/Sting feud at the next PPV. It's coming along pretty nicely. Looks like Suicide wants a shoot at the X-division belt...I say give it to him. The Beer Money gimmick that they are going with is a great gimmick and a good way to get rid of talent so they can bring new talent in. I know if I was a wrestler and showed up to work and seen I was faceing them for the evening, I'd be a little nervous about my job at for the time being! laugh.gif What's up with Samoa Joe pulling a knife on Steiner? I'm thinking they are taking that a little to far. The next thing you know, some kid will emulate that and say he seen it on TNA, thus putting a dark light on wrestling again, something we don't need! I think they could do the story line with them, just minus the knife! What do you guys think about it?

yep, i think they went a bit too far with the knife bit too.......theres not really much else to say about that...what kinda took me by surprise was don wests blowup at tenay................BUT, then i remembered this isnt the first time tenays gotten his ass chewed out on air like that.....remember schiavone in the early tna days?
Thumper
Ya, that kind of came out of nowhere huh. Totally unexpected. Be interesting to see where they go with it. I remember something in WCW where Tenay had an incident of sorts kind of like that as well but i cant quite put my finger on it.

Smackdown thoughts

wow. I call this episode the episode of upsets. laugh.gif Taker got beat by Koslov, Shelton by Chavo and Cena by Show. Great way they presented the situations and outcomes though. Even though Taker is my favorite, I'm glad it went down that way. It helps build toward the show of shows....Wrestlemania! Now it's going to get real interesting with HBK in the mix as well. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.

I don't ever want to be in a position where I have to work and actually expect to make a check from them or contract. I've already made a contract with them that they broke, and I don't think you can really do business with them after that………I don't want to be a character in wrestling at all. That's to bad, I would have liked to see him come back in some capacity, maybe kind of like a role similar to what Tony Atlas is doing for Mark Henry, that would have been great. He could have done some mentoring to his niece or something. It's his choice and his choice alone though. I myself feel it's a missed opportunity on his part.

I always knew him coming back was a long shot, like 90 to 10 that he wouldn't come back.

Raw

Great Raw last night with some great matches. Hbk vs Taker now at Wrestlemania, great. That one will be awesome!!! Kane qualified for Money In the bank? Wonder if Rey will also between here and now? The stipulations between HHH and Orton should lead up to some good TV before the PPV. Good match between Koslov and HBK.

Agreed. Maybe a manager for for Kidd/Natalia on ECW would have been nice to see him behind his proteges. I think it would be nice to show that the past is the past and he can move forward in the company because he is a legend, I can't think of a lot of people who have never heard of any of the Harts, even some who are not wrestling fans, but still. It is a missed opportunity and I think it shows that he still holds a grudge. It is a sad ending though, he truly was/is one of the greats, I still like watching his matches when I can.

Some dark matches info for everyone.

QUOTE
In a dark match that took place prior to last night's RAW went on the air, Kofi Kingston defeated William Regal. It was said to be an entertaining match with lots of chain wrestling.

-- After RAW went off the air, the advertised 6-man dark match with DX and Cena vs. The Legacy never took place. The Big Show came out to confront Cena and asked him how it felt to come up short in his WWE title match against Edge in front of his home town. Cena says that he let everyone down, but that Big Show needs an attitude adjustment. He then gave the big man the Attitude Adjuster and left as Lilian Garcia closed the show.

Definitely would have liked to have seen the Kofi/Regal match. I wonder why they have not worked on some sort of rival between him and Edge, since what Edge pulled at NWO. They really should, it would be nice to see Edge up against someone he has not versed before and to see Kofi have a proper chance to get the title. I think he would make a great champion.

DX & Cena/Legacy would have been nice to see as well, just because I love seeing HHH and Shawn Michaels tag teaming. I would have loved to have seen the Attitude Adjustment (I will never get use to that name change) done to Big Show for sure.

This would be nice to see. Maybe they can bring in Ted Dibiase Sr.'s other son, Brett Dibiase (FCW) and have the three of them be quite a team on WWE. This is going to be something to lookout for though indeed.

Mr. T Turns Down WWE Hall Of Fame Because Of Pete Rose
In an interview with The UK Mirror, actor and early Wrestlemania headliner Mr. T commented that he turned down an invitation to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame because of the induction of another celebrity, Pete Rose.

"WWE asked me to be in the Hall of Fame and I turned it down. You know why? They put Pete Rose in the wrestling Hall of Fame. This guy can't even get into his own Hall of Fame. After they put Rose in they came and asked me and I said "You don't insult me! You don't put Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame before me! I ain’t going to be a part of that. They put him in and he only did one WrestleMania, and he didn't even wrestle."

T went on to claim he was the only celebrity to have wrestled, overlooking New York Giant great Lawrence Taylor, who headlined Wrestlemania 11's main event against the late Bam Bam Bigelow.

TNA Women's Knockout Champion Awesome Kong recently made it clear she's not happy with newcomer Brutus Magnus (real name Nick Aldis) making more money than her. Many feel it's hard to blame her as she's done so much for the company whereas Magnus is still very green and his only claim to fame before joining TNA was working for the UK version of American Gladiators.

Magnus is considered to be a project of TNA president Dixie Carter—the main force behind his arrival in the company. It's been said that Carter cares more about charisma than in-ring ability.

Man, I'd be pissed as well. I don't blame her for being upset at all. I'm not impressed with Magnus at all at this point.

possible wrestlemania spoiler, possible that is, + Raw spoiler as well

WWE had a plan in place for Edge to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Big Show at WrestleMania. The match will be coming to fruition as SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero named Big Show the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship following Edge's loss to John Cena at the conclusion of tonight's show.

Regarding plans for Cena at WrestleMania, it all hinges on the company's negotiations with Hulk Hogan for the event. We broke the news of there being some back and forth between the two parties, which Hogan himself later confirmed on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show. However, Hogan said they were unable to agree on a specific scenario for him at the event, but McMahon was open to doing something with him in the future.

Despite Hogan's comments, according to a company source, negotiations are still ongoing for the WWE Hall of Famer to wrestle Cena at WrestleMania. Officials hope the match takes place as it would have the greatest effect on the buyrate for the pay-per-view spectacular.

Should negotiations fall through, WWE has a back-up plan. Cena will simply be sandwiched into the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania with it being turned into a three way match for the title.

I'm getting anxious to see how this will finally go down. If it does go down, then they had better get the ball rolling on it!

Cue the evil laugh. "I'm The Boogeyman and I'm not comin' to get'cha

Wright had his tryout for the fourth season of Tough Enough however he was
cut from the competition after he admitted that he was 40 years old, five
years older than the age limit needed to participate in the show. WWE hired
him anyways after he was disqualified and he was sent to Ohio Valley

released in mid 2006 but was hired again later in the year returning to
