Had acupuncture once because of a foot ailment. Intuitively I felt it was due to an energy blockage which was why I went. After the session I felt and walked in far less discomfort and it gradually cleared up in time, but I felt it was like my body was telling me to change certain behaviours, which was part of my healing process.
