Controversial spoof of current-affairs TV and the role of celebrity in the UK. Well, I won't say much as most have said it for me - Brasseye is just unbelievably brilliant stuff. The sole, original series was shown in March 1997 (I remember it well) and a 2001 special (which wasn't so good at all but I'll leave mentioning it here anyway) and it's still funny, shocking and pure brilliance to this day. There's never been another show like it, before or since. "The Day Today" is also as brilliantly funny but Brasseye is the Chris Morris show which totally pushed the boundaries of television in so many ways.
