I voted Pride, and Im glad to say the originators of pride are back and creating a new mma league called Dream. From what i understand, a few of the old Pride guys have already signed. As long as the pay better than the original Pride, it should be a major contender. No kicking/knees to the ground ruins Ufc for me.

in the US it will be hard to top UFC. Im not saying its the absolute best. but they basically have a monopoly on the MMA franchise in the USA.

honestly i wish pancrase was introduced into our country. for those of you who don't know. pancrase in just like UFC or the other ones. only they don't wear gloves. but they arn't allowed to use fists. they have to be open palm strikes. and i've seen guys get f*ed up more from that then the punches.

anyway back to UFC. its just sad because they dominate the market. one of the great things bodog had was the female fights. and Dana White said he refuses to put females in the ring in UFC. we shall see if that changes with WEC but im doubtful.

plus they tried airing the other companies on channels that didn't have much of anything to do with fighting or extreme sports. it was a case of take what you can get.

wrong there dude...he was very good in pride. Prob is, most guys never watched pride, they only new about mma after ufc became mainstream. pride had some great fighters...definately tougher then ufc. ufc didnt bring on all the great pride fighters.. Dana only wanted to bring in alot of older guys and guys that had been in the sport to long or hadnt fought in years so he could say..see ufc is tougher. Thats just not the case.
