Full Version: What Do You Think About Friday Night Lights
So recently I started watching Friday Night Lights and at first I thought this show suced because the movie wasnt as good. But then when I watched the first episode I was addicted to the show. Now I hope they dont cancel the show. So I wanted to know what youguys thought about the show. And if you havent seen it you have to go to NBC.com and watch the entire first and second season. It will keep you wanting more.
I watched the first season last week and loved it. Thought it was one of the best shows I'd ever seen. Couldn't wait to DL some of season 2. Big mistake.
Season 2 of FNL is ridiculous and is nothing like the first season. I'd heard from some friends that season 2 sucked, but I had no idea a show could be so bi-polar. Should I give it another chance and watch some more of season 2?

i admit ive never seen it, and i dont care too either. i know its not exactly like the movie so to speak, but it still looks like too much of that drama/90210 thing to me. hell, even the movie was borderline crap, and i love good ole billy-bob..........even worse about that movie is that the team portrayed in it (odessa permian) is my alma mater's (amarillo high school) biggest non-conference rival in all of texas. thats what sucked, them makin a movie about these fools......
If you played sports in high school or college, I'd highly recommend the first season. Not too heavy on the "teen drama" stuff either, as that comes into play more in season 2.
Plus they changed the school from Permian to Dillon (set just outside Austin according to their story), so maybe that'll help! Plus it has a great soundtrack based on the "Explosions In The Sky" soundtrack used in the movie, I personally didn't like the movie though.

You should start watching Season 2. And they were only able to get 15 out of 22 episodes so you never know what could happen. And if you want to watch season 2 go to http://www.nbc.com/Friday_Night_Lights/video/episodes.shtml there they have all 15 episodes of season 2. And season 2 does not suck it has better drama and better acting then Season 1.
