Well i finally watched all the episodes and i gotta say that that shit was asome.
The ending was so unexpected, im at a loss for word.
I simply can't explain it.

I have to agree I also just finished all the episodes. One of the best animes hands down. The twists and turns made it where you finished a episode and automatically loaded the next one. Too bad the story ended only after 37 episodes.

Great anime. Simply one of the best. However after L died I felt they rushed it. I feel Neer/Near is out of place. Whomever wrote the original script or magma; how realistic is it with having a kid being one of the greatest detectives? L was a prodigy due to his young age...but I feel eleven is too young for N.

i c it another way....after l died light got overly confident...evidence is when he tells near that he wins before he is to die.

Light only saw the game as him and L so when L died he felf ultra power...power over his world. in witch he is to be god...I think he lost his mind...Alot of people dont like how near cought light, or near was to young or what ever...the truth is in lights state of mind it was easy.

i agree it ended to soon but it was the right ending. if it was 37 or 57 episodes light was still loosing it

The only thing I dont like about Near beating Light is that L was better then Near but it makes Near seem so much better than L, but if it werent for all the people Near used and the stupidity of Light putting trust into others acting as Kira without messing up then Near would never stood a chance against Light, the only true rival to Light was L, apart from that Light was always doomed as even if Light killed Near then Ryuk would still have took Lights life at that point as there was no more fun to be had, Ryuk loved the battles Light had with others but as soon as the final stand off arrived no matter what there wouldnt be any more of that so Ryuk decided to end it.

Near isnt too young, L was that age once and was solving cases, its just that we only see him from his late teens, Near and Mello are both just the same as L in terms of genious however they are both two different types of genious where as L was both types, thats why the orphanage wanted Near and Mello to work together to replace L.

I have downloaded these episodes but uploading to imeem (so that all my links/ the entire series in english dub are on the same site) seems to be failing epicly xD I'll get round to it though, just thought I'd post alt links in the mean time to stop you waiting.

The pop-up on the deathnote.tv site tries to trick you so after you click cancel read the box, sometimes it says 'click ok to quit and cancel to install the serivce' and then swaps round. Just a heads up :]
