I downloaded and upon extraction with WinRAR(3.71) I received the following:
1. CRC failed in setup - 1bin. The file is corrupt
2. Unexpected end of archive
3. Unexpected end of archive

[System: OS Win XP SP3]
Upon install it asks for Disk 1 to install - so obviously the errors caused the whole thing to go to shit
Damnit, lol
oh wells, guess Ill just buy the playstation version online for $19.99 and let the kids play it on their PS2

Copy the prog.exe in Fix file and paste it into the folder "Bin", overwrite and play it from the prog.exe file

works but the installer he used it weird if you use it you will see what i mean
and the installer is in some other launguage but easy to tell whats install and quit
the game is the multi - lingual version which is also has us included so its all good


but some things should be noted
1. the installer takes time but dont give up on it
2. the installer will not close once it installs all the way (restart computer or task manager it away)
3. the movies/cut scenes have no sound (no biggie cause i skip them any way )
4. if you dont skip the soundless movies the game likes to play freeze at load screen

Okay, get ready to be bored!

These Unpack.bat versions are 'ripped' copies of the game. A 'rip' is a copy of the game, leaving out some files from the original disc that aren't necessary for gameplay, such as video cutscenes, video intros, etc. That's the reason they're so small in size compared to the full DVD ISO, which is just a direct copy of the original game disc and so includes everything.

So rips are just a 'bare-bones' version of the game - but often awkward to make work, as you've found out! This is why I generally go for the full image file (ISO, NRG, BIN, etc) - less hassle and more likely to work - even though they're much bigger downloads.

Good luck with the ISO file. Just shout if there's any problems - they're much easier to diagnose/solve than hassles with 'rips'.

I don't know why, but I have to urge to play Sim city. An old version. Anyone have a super Nintendo version of this, and possibly an emulator play it? If not an old PC version will be fine =D

The original PC version will be trickier to play on today's machines without a DOS emulator anyways (tricky to set up, too), so probably the best way to go is the SNES version.

now first
1.unrar the files

2.burn or mount what ever your preference is

3.install
if it doesnt auto-run you might have to to explore and find the setup.exe yourself but lets hope to avoid that

4.now this is were i gets tricky

---- side note --- the crack suplied by robbeh might be the true fix i dont know when a game first comes out expect cracks to be wild guesses so be careful

this must be noted as it is the matter of playing or not

(this guide was assembled by me guessing you know the basics of cracking and burning/mounting and image)

Peggle Extreme





Peggle Extreme delivers fast-paced puzzle action that combines elements of pinball and pachinko to create a truly unique game experience.
