TERMINATOR: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

TV series 2008-????
Action | Drama | Fantasy | Sci-Fi | Thriller

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0851851/

Set after the events in 'Terminator 2' Sarah Connor and her son John, trying to stay under-the-radar from the government as they plot to destroy the computer network Skynet in hopes of preventing Armageddon.

From what I can gather, Ep4 will not be shown until the 4th of Feb in America, so we have a bit longer to wait.

Goddammit. I'm British, so that sucks... Someone vote him out! How dare he interupt TV time *tuts*
Thumper
Hey, I'm american and I think it sucks also!!! To bad Bush couldnt run into a terminator....no more long, boring speeches!

Not true. I taped T:SCC episode 4 on Monday night from FOX. It aired an hour earlier than its usual timeslot. I actually looked at the TV chart time listings in my local paper and it showed that it'd air an hour sooner. But what bugs me is I saw the that the Bush crap was on earlier in the evening, so why was it airing so late? Or were they re-airing again? Did Bush's thing take 2 seperate speeches? I'm not even American and I'm asking. But I do have ep 4 of T:SCC. I can't do any of that download stuff and besides its on vhs anyways, quality would suck.

That was a re show of the first one not a new one

I read that it was because its bad ratings were affecting prison break and they didnt want to lose PB

Dunno How true this is tho

QUOTE
With ratings far below even the network's worst predictions, Fox could pull the plug on production for "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" as early as this week.

The network has been disappointed by "Sarah Connor's" numbers so far this season, and some executives feel that the show is dragging down numbers for "Prison Break," which airs as a lead-out.

"Audiences just aren't responding to the show," a Fox source tells SyFy Portal. "Our biggest surprise are the 18-to-49s [a key advertising demographic], those numbers are in the toilet."
So what will happen?

"All I can say is that production will likely stop, and I would think that Fox might try to air some of the episodes already in the can," the source said. "But I don't know. They don't want to lose 'Prison Break,' so there could be some schedule shuffling in the future."

Sorry kf, was merely ruminating on dearest Shirley, not about the cancellation. Of course "you" wouldn't understand that though, grin.

Either way I've got that episode up in divx now. Several links at that. The wait is over.

Long since over cat. This was originally for season one in February as there was a significant delay between ep3 & ep4. The links didn't show up according to schedule is all. However, I still have my darling Shirley to swoon over, ahhh.

Why is this show in Sci-Fi, same with Heroes?

Just my opinion, but these shows are Prime Time 1 hour shows, they shouldnt be mixed up in 5 different locations, putting these in new shows area is the best spot for them. The different Genre sections should be left for Series' that arent currently on air. If you are going to put everything into its own category, might as well put Lost in Sci-Fi, Prison Break in Crime etc.

When talking about big shows on TV, the premium shows should all be in the same section, it would just make it 1 stop shopping for the fans. I was looking for Sarah Connor Chronicles a month or so back and couldnt find it for the life of me, then i checked Sci-Fi and found it. I just assumed these alternate sections were for old stuff...

That being said, thanks a lot for posting, you guys are great and I love that i can find basically any show within hours of it airing live on TV. My suggestions for category improvement:

4 sections: Primetime, Sitcom, Cartoon, Childrens. Each Cat. could have the main link for all new links only, with older series' added in subcategories below.

Primetime is for all the big shows that air through the week, the 1 hour shows that generally air between 8pm and 11pm. The cat's below would be for older series, think X-Files or other shows not on air anymore.

Sitcom would be for any of the many 30 minute Situation Comedies that air in the same 8-11 slot, think Two and A Half Men. Below there could be all the Sienfelds, Friends, Frasiers etc..

Cartoon's could be for any new cartoon that isnt created specifically for children, think Simpsons, Family Guy, Adult Swim. Below section for older cartoons as well.

Childrens would be for any family oriented program, be it cartoons or live action.

Just my 2 cents, if anyone could take this into consideration or pass this to a Mod, that would be great. Im only trying to help, I love this site, been here since the beginning and i want to do my part to make this site better for everyone!

Another great episode, this episode wasnt full of action but it had a good storyline. Was that link cut short, or did the episode end when she shut the door?

sci fi is fine.............because of the nature of the programme i.e robots and super powers( sci-fi)..... lost is more of a mysterious show and prison break is fine where it is..... if it aint broke dont fix it.... smile.gif

Not sure if any of u have read this but here you go

Sorry, guys, but the FOX network has all but handed The Sarah Connor Chronicles the kiss of death with this announcement: starting February 13, 2009, the network will move The Sarah Connor Chronicles from its regular Monday night timeslot to Friday nights, where it will provide the lead-in to FOX's new show, Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. You don't have to be an industry insider to know that Friday nights is where you put genre TV shows you've lost all faith in, and you certainly don't move a show like TSCC mid-season to another timeslot without actively damaging its already shaky viewership. Meanwhile, to add insult to injury, FOX's freshman sci-fi show, J.J. Abrams' Fringe will continue to air on Tuesdays, where it will have FOX's juggernaut show American Idol as its lead-in. The point is, had FOX even had the slightest confidence in TSCC, or even had a notion of bringing the show back for a third season, they would have given it a powerful lead-in, either the return of American Idol, or at least kept it on Mondays with the return of 24 as its new lead-in, in an attempt to stabilize its existing viewers and bring in new ones.

There has only been one show that has managed to survive Friday nights on FOX: The X-Files. No show has managed the same feat since. They don't call it the "graveyard timeslot" for nothing, you know. What exactly am I trying to say here? Basically this: a third season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is looking very, very grim.

Sorry, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but those are just the facts. Better we get used to it now, and hope the producers provide some kind of closure this season, then have Season 2 end on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved. Do the right thing, producers!

Update: As expected, reactions from our readers have been to blame the messenger. Sorry, guys, but anyone who knows TV knows that Fridays is where FOX banishes their forgotten shows to die a slow death. If you really want someone to blame, email your letters to FOX and get them to move TSCC to any other day but Friday.

Sarah & John Connor know for a fact that sh*t is going to happen. It’s pointless telling people because they obviously wont believe them as Sarah found out hence the psychiatric hospital! If only they had real proof of what they claim. The authorities would have no choice but to listen & act accordingly. Seems the best route to take in my opinion. How could they possibly find proof? Well, they’ve got the ultimate proof “CAMERON”!!!!!!!! Take Cameron to the relevant authorities; get her to lift a table & few cars up between her teeth, job done!!!! Geeeeese who wrote this crap?!?!? It’s so pathetic I had to stop watching it!!

...if they were to take Cameron to the authorities, whos to say they wont use her endoskeleton n chip to further their tech advance hence creating skynet,i dont know if you've seen the last few episodes but it gets worse, the show has turned into a drama, there is absolutely no action and even im starting not to care anymore...

Lol the best is when Sarah beats the shit out of 4-5 cops in front of all the press.

Only one episode left for season 2. And the show definitely won't be canceled, not with the new movie coming out with Christian Bale, the movie is giving fox so much free publicity, and when sequels come out it usually resparks interests in the series and pretty much all things "Terminator".

O and thank god the Governator retired, I don't think I could handle another movie with him playing the Terminator,
Amar
they have ruined the show completely

people know what terminator is about, people already know the details so why are they making this into a drama show?

terminator has a good storyline and people watch the movies for the action. this bloody show is becoming less and less action oriented and pathetic drama oriented. terminator fans want to see action

Exactly.....I have eagerly awaited every episode ever since this show started......it's awesome!

There is tonnes of storyline to tell and I am glad they aren't rushing through it......like BSG's writers did.....I'd like to see a lot more than just 4 seasons of this show.

Kind of weird that John Conner wasn't recognized in the future......can't wait for the next episode!
Kabaal
They wouldn't have recognized him because he went forward in time, the minute he jumped he ceased to exist which would mean that future John Connor wouldn't exist until he arrived. Maybe this is how future John Connor started leading the resistanceand the next series, if there is one, will be set in the future.

Oh, and was that a human Cameron at the end? If it is then you know John's gonna have her i bed the second he gets a chance lol.
RobinBanks
yep she seemed to be a REAL girl!
jobean
I really hope this isnt the end, but if it is, what a wow ending!
lode42
MMM that show is pure satisfaction. It punches you in the stomach just to show you the message your lunch spelled out on the floor. Award winning.
OldManRivers
For those who say they haven't liked the past few episodes because it's become a character drama, I have to voice support for the last few episodes. I really like it. I also liked BSG for the same reasons and have voice support for that kind of storytelling over full "Action-packed" episodes. It just seems more real and enjoyable to watch. But, I like that kind of stuff and have realized that most don't.

I hope the show doesn't end. After BSG, there isn't a show that I find as enjoyable with Science Fiction. We shall see. The Catherine Weaver thing really was interesting. I like the idea of having two super-computers duking it out. Question is, in the future, where did this other faction come from? If it came from John Connor and the resistance, why would he ask for them to join them? The idea of John seeking help from other machines to defeat skynet is interesting.

I wonder how this show will eventually tie in with T:3 and T:Salvation. There is so many ways it could. Be neat to see SCC actors in future Terminator films, even if they were just cameo's.
Amar
must admit todays and last weeks episode were simply AMAZING. suspense, action and confusion.

they must make a season 3 now, so many questions to be answered. who is cameron joining? i know that ginger machine who came back with john is the same one who said no on the boat to the humans.

wonder if they if cameron and henry are joining sky net?

right at the end with that electricity, it sounded like sarah conner came back after all
Amar
also i found this on the fox site

does that mean season 3 has been confirmed?
