Windowblinds v6.10.55

WindowBlinds is a one-of-a-kind utility that allows Windows users to completely change the look and feel of the Windows interface by applying a new skin. There are thousands of different skins to choose from that are freely downloadable from the WindowBlinds website.

A WindowBlinds skin can make Windows look like an alternative operating system, like their favorite sports or car brand, or something completely new. Because WindowBlinds uses the latest hardware acceleration features of modern video cards, WindowBlinds won't slow down your computer and uses very little memory.

WindowBlinds is a one-of-a-kind utility that allows Windows users to completely change the look and feel of the Windows interface by applying a new skin. There are thousands of different skins to choose from that are freely downloadable from the WindowBlinds website. A WindowBlinds skin can change Windows to look like an alternative operating system, favorite sports car brands, favorite sports team, or virtually anything else. With modern video cards, WindowBlinds can do this without reducing performance. WindowBlinds 6 adds the ability to have "blurred glass" window borders on Windows XP which allows artists to make skins that could make Windows XP look virtually identical to Windows Vista.

Additionally, WindowBlinds 6 adds full support for customizing Microsoft's new Windows Vista operating system. Everything from Internet Explorer 7 skinning, Sidebar skinning to explorer backgrounds, WindowBlinds 6 skins virtually every element of Windows Vista while making full use of the hardware acceleration features on Windows Vista for maximum performance.
The new version also adds a host of other features including advanced animation support in skins, user-creatable skin sub-styles, a new, easy to use configuration program, user customization options of fonts and colors in skins and much more.

If WBINST~1.exe is not appearing in Processes, it means wb has not been installed properly. Don't uninstall. Reinstall and WBINST~1.exe will appear hopefully. Then follow other instructions. Anyhow I have posted a new latest version 6.20 build 61 here today. You can download it. Both versions are working fine.

Good luck and enjoy !

Stardock WindowBlinds 6.02.43 + 100 Themes

do note kids, that those themes are kinda heavy.. especially those senseless, excessive, flashy, eyeball scorching, resource hogging, i'm compensating themes.
100 of them is prolly a couple gigs wink.gif ya don't need all that..
just get the ware, and check customize or dArt for skins you actually want.

ok you said you followed the instructions step by step? well i wanna be sure....

1) Install WindowBlinds
2) Close activation window (twice)
3) Start task-manager and kill Process:
-> vista: WbVista.exe (and VistaSrv.exe if listed) <~~ this is crucial.. the order of the instructions is crucial. you must kill that process before using the patches.. if you don't you're fucked. basically.. i don't know how to go back..
-> xp: WBINST~1.exe
4) Start the keyfilemaker and apply the patch WbSrv.dll
5) Generate a keyfile and save it in the same folder

with a name like "shell82" you'd think you at least a thing or two about windows..
sheesh

EDIT: btw, this is copied from the cracked version i have saved on my harddrive for sharing with friends.
it works 100% ...now, i am assuming one of these versions or all of them are similar, being that you must kill wb processes for the keygen, and patch to work...

my guess it is there name and year they were born
sm0key
good guess..

but all i see is shell32.dll
shell82
i just asked for help and i did all the instructions and i do know what im doing i did it step by step and all i get is already patched or another file version and by the way shell is a nick for michelle and 82 is for the year i was born and you didnt have to be so rude.
shell82
and the only reason i asked for help because i download and cracked one of the window blinds from this site on my bf's computer and he has windows vista 64 bit and when i cracked it worked but when i brought it home and put it on my computer which is running 32 bit it said already patched or running another file version so i thought maybe it was something to do with 32 bit

STARDOCK WINDOWBLINDS v6.20

Let's face it, unless you're playing the latest first-person shooter, spending long periods of time in front of your computer can get pretty monotonous. One way people try to spruce things up a bit is by customizing their PC's background wallpaper, screensaver, or desktop color scheme, but a better way to keep things fresh is by using StarDock's WindowBlinds, a handy utility with the ability to completely alter the Windows user interface.

By letting you apply different "skins" to the Windows UI, WindowBlinds lets you alter not just a handful of visual characteristics but virtually every facet of the operating system and application appearance. This can include everything from the Start button to dialog boxes and backgrounds, logon and logoff screens, animations (i.e. file copy), and even graphic elements within applications like the title bar (including its minimize, maximize, and restore buttons) and scrollbars.
