I have installed all the components needed such as quicktime and div x yet my pages shut down as soon as I click on a movie link, does anyone know why?

try uninstalling all your divx software, then install the one from stage6 (go to stage6.com and click on download at the top)

if you are using firefox or IE, try disabling some addons you have that may be interfering with divx, such as video addons.

if that doesnt work, uninstall all the divx software you have on your pc, then reinstall an earlier version of divx, go to : http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=divx, scroll down and download the one near the bottom.
