Despite the rumours that the remake may be crap or not, depending on general opinion, i have been searching in vain to find anyone with a copy and surprisingly noone seems to have any kind of new information, fotos, trailers or infact absolute zilch apart from the burned out trailer on youtube since June, yet the release date was meant to be in 2007 and time is running short....

Could it really be that it was so crap that no publishers want to get involved? Specially since all the hype that was made since the coming of the new zombi b-wave and the descent remake of Dawn of the dead????

Whatīs going on?

That sucks!!! Day of the Dead is a wonderful gem.. why would they even come up with the idea? the new special effects would be rather interesting to see, along with more convincing actors.. but WTF!?

I must say, based on what I've seen so far, this is looking to be one very poor re-make. What Hollywood is thinking with all the horror remakes is beyond me. Why can't we get some decent original horror films anymore? They are so few and far between these days :-(

Agreed!

from what i have seen in the trailers they o appear to be super zombies, e.g. are able to run and jump out of windows of two stori buildings ect. and has no resemblence to the original what so ever, but for as bad as it could be i have been wating so loooong to see it, the movie is made. and therefore WTF is the holdl pu gee, just stick it on internet and letīs get through this together, riiight now, duh duh duh .

Well, several things could be holding it up... no distributer wants it, a distributer picked it up and shelved it (which is a good possibility with the writers strike... get back up movies in case the strike last for a long while) or a few other possibilities. I guess we will never know until it come out.
