I left home at 16, and I have NEVER wanted to go back to live there again.
(No, I didnt have a bad childhood, I had decent parents, and decent family, I just LOVE being on my own-with MY family now)

That's about the same age I left home. I on the other hand, I couldn't stand my abusive alcoholic father, so that's why I left....and I'm much better off because of it!
I have never been a lucky person, seems bad luck likes to follow me around!!!

Arnprior

(no, not even his early ones - although I came close to the 10-minutes mark with the one that had Kelly LeBrock; I was a young lad back then...)
I never broke a bone either, and God knows I tried. Well, not intentionally - I'm very clumsy and often got myself into Jackie-Chanesque situations that would've made anyone else's bones go "click". But then again my hair started falling before I even graduated high school...
I have never even touched any of the "current" games consoles (X-Box, Wii, PS2/3,etc), having only on a few occasions fiddled with a Super Nintendo. (Nothing against gamers, I just never got what all the fuss is about)

I have NEVER enjoyed waking up to my alarm clock-EVER!
Devils work those damn things!
Thumper
Apr 9 2009, 03:44 PM
I have never really needed an alarm clock, I always wake up on time. I just go to bed and tell myself to wake up at a certain time and I always do. Don't know why I have always been able to do that but it helps I guess when you don't or can't sleep for long periods of time. I average 3 to 4 hours sleep a day.

Thumper looks more and more like my clone - except for the wrestling thing. No offesne dude...
I also have an internal alarm clock. I just need to think of the time at which I must get up, and sure enough I'm pretty much on the dot. he fact that I sleep 3 to 4 hours a day might help that though...Coffee...COOOFEEEE.
I have never seen "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey", even though I'm a huge fan of the first film.

I have never bungee jumped,
Although i have skydived, but its the rope that scares me :S
Arnprior
Apr 10 2009, 04:52 PM
I was supposed to Bungee jump once, but then just as I was un-terrifyingly looking down, God appeared to me and said that if I jumped the world might end in a cataclysmic bonfire of pain and misery. "But God", said I, I must jump and prove beyond a doubt that I am a man. The guy in charge of the jumps didn't believe the conversation I said I was having with God though, and told me to take my pussy ass elsewhere so others can pretend they're not scared. And so I stepped down, and saved the world. True story.

Ahahhaa, no.
It's one of the privately owned mini islands of the channel islands, between England and France.

Between Sark and Herm, there are about 8-9 little islands. They own a mild allegiance to Brittin, as ALL Channel Islands do, but the Isle of Chad has such an ancient history, its actually STILL allowed to be a dictatorship with its own Monarch, and has a population of under 200 people.
I almost went, as an acquaintance of a friend had family that lives there- but, oddly, that island seldom accepts guests, as there's only one way on or off the island. In the end, I ran out of time, and opportunity... and sadly, now, will most likely never go.
Kinda sad I missed such an experience...
Very cool tho.... to know that places like that still exist, almost unchanged 100's of years...
And INTERESTING side note: if you google map Channel Islands, you will NOT find 2 maps alike, nor will you see the same islands listed. The reason for this is, some of the islands have now also been privately bought, (or in the case of Chad, where not truliy OPEN to the public- as a dictatorship, they sort of block casual visits) and do NOT show up on PUBLIC maps... but I still don't know WHY all the postioning of the islands change from map to map.... ODD.
I have never wanted my then my 2 'perfect' children.

I did once, and drove it around the block a few times. My grandpa used to be an Auto body repair man and that's how I got to. A doctor was passing threw town one day and a school kid scratched his car some how so he needed it touched up and decided to do it right then and there. He was referred to my grandpa, as everyone in town was at that time cause he was the best around. When the doctor got a cab to go catch lunch, that was my ticket to try it out, and I did!! I'll never forget it!!
