What does everyone think about BSG Razor? I personally thought it was good, and had the typical strenghts of BSG (hard-lining with characters, not just playing around/fooling the viewer to create artificial tension, convincing actors and acting), but generally it felt more like an out-of-band episode, i didn't really like the appearance of the old-style Cylons, and i don't know what to think about the entire Hybrid story, it's a little hard to piece together what is now meant for BSG mainline, and what was just the "special" part about it which probably won't get any further mention.
All in all, i'd rate it a 7/10, with as comparsion "Downloaded (2x18)" rated by me as 9.5/10

Globally I thought it was pretty good, the main character was pretty interesting. However, when it comes to how the Razor storyline will fit in with the main BSG storyline, I can only guess that the hybrids will play some important role in season 4 maybe, and what the hybrid had to say about Starbuck was pretty interesting too.
Anyhow, we'll find everything out in season 4.

While I enjoyed the original with Lorne Greene emmensely as a boy. I prefer the "Reimagined" Series. A bit more flashy & the characters are pretty good. Even though the cylons can take on a human appearance now. Although it was also an adjustment to see Boomer & Starbuck being played by the fairer sex. Oh yeah, having the original Apollo back on the show, that was an interesting twist as well.
I have all three seasons & was only too glad to get the webisodes & Razor. Now Razor took an interesting look back on Admiral Cain's command. She was originally a rebellious character on Star Trek: The Next Generation named
Ro Laren. My how she progressed.
Season four is a much anticipated show for me & the premiere on April 4 will not be here soon enough.
Here on the shows official home page is a neat clip called "What the frak is going on? Catch up to season four in eight minutes." Makes for some fun viewing, enjoy.

Been watching this the last 2 seasons. I'm ready for 4! They say this is the final season and that they will answer all the unanswered questions.... I guessed 3 out of the 4 cylons revealed last season correctly. Any bets on the fifth? In the origonal series, Baltar was the leader of the cylons, but that would be too obvious. My money is on the President..

I didn't like them written that way either. Esp Chief.

But.. that does bring up an interesting twist though. If Chief is a cylon, what does that make he and Callie's baby? The next evolved generation of cylon?

And is Callie human? Is the baby the "fifth"?

Seeing that Helo & Athena (Boomer 2) have baby Hera, maybe Chiefs & Callies can go against 'em UFC style (dueling babies), grin.
The season four premiere is televised at 9:00pm CST/GMT-6. Chances are that it won't be linked until at least a few hours afterwards. It's good to dream though. REM is good for the brain, snicker.

Hi all
Somehow I missed all the activity in this thread.
There has been a tag line in the commercials for the premiere episode that says something like "all will be revealed"
Lol, while I did not expect everything to be revealed in the first episode, I did hope that we'd get a bit more than we got.
That comes from the fact that I had not watched a single episode of this show until just a few months ago, So I was lucky to watch the shows for the 3 past seasons
one after the other ( thanks to the magic of QSS

) no waiting for a week to see the next episode.
So I guess I must use my patience and wait for this season slowly to unfold
, and all will eventually be revealed.
btw, I too was a fan of the original series. Obviously the advancement in technology makes for a more spectacular use of special effects.
I happen to particularly like the battle scenes with all the missiles firing and the huge array of ships all moving about and exploding, quite impressive!
Enjoy the show!

I had to vote: Not Sure
First - I know that it appears that we know who the 4 are, but has it been confirmed?
I mean, we have seen that they think they are cylons and there have been a few odd things to push
us to believe it, but are we sure?
Second - I have to think that the final one is someone real big - First assumption might be Star buck, but as
Deathdealer and Urbangiggles have said President Roslin certainly is a possibility.
However, every time I think about it Admiral Adama keeps coming to mind. I cant shake the feeling that they just might go in that direction.
But, then I think about the big deal the cylons are making about the "first" human cylon baby. So since Admiral Adama has children that
more or less rules him out I suppose. It points toward someone without children.
I hope it's not Baltar, Imho he's a bit to obvious of a candidate.
Hehe What do you think? last episode five minutes to go they tell who it is, then screen goes black , credits roll?

- just kidding that would be ugly.

OMG.. didn't get to watch until last night, and hmmmmm...
Starbuck's ship was one I wasn't expecting. They keep trying to throw more evidence on her to make it seems she's the fifth, and I still believe she's not a cylon. I'm thinking pointing a gun at the Prez is probably not the brightest idea.

And the scene with Sam and the cylon ship.. they had to recognise him as one of their own. He was so freaked out about "the what if" when he took off.. poor guy's gonna be a train wreck before it's over. What's the deal with Gaius and the little boy? They spent too much time on this little boy for his connection to Gaius to be no big deal. Maybe now Gaius will think he's got a hotline to God... LOL! Col. Tigh's little head trip on the bridge... WOW! for a sec I thought it was real! *whew* This final season will drive us nuts with anticipation.
I love this show!!

That is an interesting theory. I have one as well concerning the fifth. The person I think is the fifth is someone I think a lot have passed over because it is kind of insane. I am actually leading towards Lee Adama (Captain's son). EXPLANATION: There was that scene at the last 5-10 minutes of the last episode last season where Lee is running in one direction and he changes direction when he sees the crowd running the other way. I was thinking what if he heard the music as well and was running to find out where it was coming from but did not reach there in time with the others? Not unless I missed something, but he had no reason I saw to run that way. That would mean Captain Adama would have some explaining to do. What do you guys think? This sounds weird but I could not help but think that at that little scene.

Those are very interesting. I did not even think about the half-breed, maybe because that is a tad bit too obvious. Some of the underdogs really would be a nice choice. A lot of us do not know what they are all about, they are good choices. I can't help but just keep thinking on who it could be. I did like the original Starbuck choice, that would be very interesting.

I had to stop and think for a minute... Prez Ros was captured (hmmmm...) and so was Callie, but she got help getting free. I don't recall off the top of my head how Prez got free. Maybe tonight's epi will give us another clue. I think with this being the last season, they won't be able to hold out on who the fifth is for too long. They'll have to reveal them, and have the final battle/race for earth to tie up the storyline by seasons end.

President Roslin was with the group on the truck that was being "escorted" out of town to the slaughter.

Quoting myself above - I guess I can stop being suspicious that they were pulling one over on us and admit that the "4" cylons
are confirmed since even the lead in to the show tells us they have been identified and shows them to us.
I don't have any serious new thoughts on who the twelfth will be, but recently seeing the show again where Admiral Adama mentions his role
in the actions that caused the cylons to start the war made me start to rethink that he would have been a good "plant" by the cylons
since I assume they were looking to start the war anyway.
As the series is winding down I have to believe that the remaining cylon is a major character.
In my mind that means
President Roslin
Admiral Adama
Lee Adama
Gaius Baltar
Starbuck
I have to add that even though there are statements that Starbuck is not a cylon Ill believe it when they confirm it in show
I just don't think that Cally or Gaeta are important enough characters for either one of them to be the twelfth.

I couldn't agree more with you. It makes sense for the Cylons to be the more important characters. I mean look at the four they have revealed to us. Colonel Tigh is an important figure and close to the Captain; Tyrol is pretty much the backbone of the ship, he helps it to run; Tory is the assistant to President Roslin; and Anders is one of the more stronger pilots/soldiers. It definitely has to be someone of importance or someone who it close to someone who is important.

Demetrius issue has surfaced, Geda, Boomer, Helo, Anders are all on the crew, interesting.
D'Anna unboxed for the greater unity?
Yikes, that convo after the lovin' with Anders & Starbuck sure had a cylonish tone.
Executive order 112 discussion at the quorum, was a bit of fencing. Whom did it benefit, the VP, Lee or the Pres.?
After the cylon attack on cylons: We're machines dear, remember? We don't have souls.
Callie found the note meant for the chief: weapons locker 1701D 1330 hours. She heard Tigh say the chief is a cylon & they heard her drop the thingamabob. Tory saw the cover off. Dayyym, Callie mashed the chiefs skull. Tory got Nicky & launched Callie out...woah.

teehee.. if I can't sleep, neither should you.. LOL! That pic is going to make me nuts, I swear. First off, why is Chief holding a knife? Why is the book "closed" in front of Starbuck and Sam? Symbolic perhaps? Why is there an empty space with a chalice in front of it, and why is Lee looking at it? Why is Tighe looking at Lee so intently? Where is Tori? Athena and Helo are each looking at different versions of Six, and neither look happy. Book is open in front of them. the Prez and Adama are the furthest apart, again, symbolic? and Baltar has that "what's going on?" look.... the full and half full glasses of water??? Natalie pointing at Six like it's all her fault....
I'm losing my widdle mind..

Interesting episode title considering the last show.
The scene in the Chiefs quarters at the beginning, Col.Tigh had on Admiral insignia (continuity error).
