The parallels between this movie and the Bush administration years are incredible.
BTW: the comic character and story came out a couple of years before Bush slithered into office.

That is exactly what I was thinking last night as I watched this movie for the first time my Czech friend. It s a great film on many levels, a well executed social commentary as well, as you point out. I passed this movie up so many times thinking it s probably garbage and it turned out to be a really interesting movie with great dialogue as well.
