You know, three of my parents are professional psychiatrists. So, although I am not I am not a professional psychatrist, I have been phsyo-analyzed a million times in my life, so I understand the game. So I would like to give my professional phyciatric opinion. (LOL)

Anyway, I this whole think Nicole Richie is situation is very sad. She obviously has very low self esteem, and is why she has pushed herself to become this thin starving person you see now. Just like Anna Nicole and Britne Spears, she is terribly misunderstoond.

Rewind back to the first season of the Simple Life. All the tabloids and media were at the time were constantly refering to her as Paris' chubby sidekick. She watches TV too, she reads magazines. To a young woman in thier late teens, (18, 19), that could do permenent detremental harm to her psychy and self esteem.

I truely believe once the media starting calling her fat and chubby, she probably really started seeing herself that way. And then trying on top of that to live in Paris' shadow. Let's face it, the majority of the pop following world is white. White men, want a girl that is so skinny it's disgusting (Paris Hilton), as long as she has a pretty face, blonde hair, and blue eyes. So main stream media, a.k.a. white men, put Paris on a peadastool. Which hurt her self esteem more.

She clearly has an eating disorder which stems from low self esteem. I hope that she finds happiness in her life, and I really hope she finds someone that tells her she is beautiful and loves her for who she is.

And I don't think she should be made fun of, because she is obviously a lost soul.

I think that Sometimes (But not always) money makes people crazy. There is so many examples I dont have to list them. just watch the news 5 mins a day or go online. Its all the media airs now a days sadly.

well I feel sorry for her...
you dont have to like her or her snotty attitude and friends...
but just by looking at that picture I feel for her...
Chikkah is right about her and the media reports...
and about white men(although it takes all kinds thank you)
women are just as harsh and critical of her looks as any man... even more so (they are women right?)

The reason people don't like these girls is probably because they are famous for nothing, and treat people like s*** just because they don't have as much money. I don't like or dislike Nicole Ritchie. Hopefully, if she is pregnant, it might make her change her life around completely. Then again, Britney Spears has kids and look at her now.

You would think that she would change now that she is pregnant but I read that she might have her baby in jail.
And I can care less for what she does and the choices she makes But when she is driving drunk or high in the freeway and (God forbid) someone where to get hurt or killed and the law is not enforced because of her status, thats kinda messed up.

I really do feel sorry for her. From the look of her I believe she has an eating disorder.

Eating disorders are a very serious illness, they change your perception of yourself and you believe you are fat, ugly and worthless. nobody should have to suffer that.

I really hope for her sake Nicole is seeking help and i know it has been reported that she is putting on weight however eating disorders do not go away just like that, they haunt you for a very long time and all of the bad media attention she gets will not help her.

Eating disorder, oh thats very dirty - is it true. It doesn't seem from her really. I think she might have spoken on that in public.
