You will not regret watching this movie. It is one of the best movies ever done.

In the depths of the Depression, a party game brings dizzy socialite Irene Bullock to the city dump where she meets Godfrey, a derelict, and ends by hiring him as family butler. He finds the Bullocks to be the epitome of idle rich, and nutty as the proverbial fruitcake. Soon, the dramatizing Irene is in love with her 'protege'...who feels strongly that a romance between servant and employer is out of place, regardless of that servant's mysterious past...

Hmmm...Let's see...spoilt rich girl finds true love with ex-high-flying playboy type who has come down from his ivory tower to see the true majesty, honour and strength of the backbone of American society...the common (lost) man.
Can see Paris or Lindsay as the spoilt rich girl in a modern day remake of this classic, but can't quite imagine who will play the lead role of Godfrey, saw Ben Kingsley in You Kill Me with Tea Leoni last night, he was kind of impressive as usual.
