I started to download a movie and i dont know if its really downloading or not? how can you tell? it just says "downloading video" where it said "download video" next to the movie, but it doesnt say anything else anywhere on the computer about it downloading it. is that right?

go to the veoh player and click the "downloads" buttion it should tell u there.

ok now i can see that the movies have finished downloading now the question i have is, why when i play it is it a completely blank screen???

Dragonfly, we need more info.. Like what site are you trying to download from? thats one of the main things we need to know before anyone can help. Is it veoh, dailymotion, stage6 ect....

im downloading them from veoh and when i try playing them they just come up with black screens in windows media player and then they are also just black screen in the veoh player. im downloading them from the veoh site.

OK so you have the player, are you signed into the veoh site, because If I'm not mistaken, you have to be signed in to download. Also I would delete the file and try to d/l it again. I know its a pain. also when downloading with veoh. it verifys the file, so maybe it wasn't done downloading? Hope that helps some
