Ever since I updated to the newest Divx player offered on stage 6, I have had nothing but problems. The videos are jerky for the most part and get stuck..playing the last word spoken over and over. Then I get an error messeg that internet explorer needs to close.(problems with np32dll.Divx add-on).My system gets so stuck and its even hard to close anything. Finally I have to shut system down. Does anybody know why this could be happening??
I have cleared divx from my system and did a clean install, but that didn't work either.

not sure if its a browser problem, but try using firefox browser with the divx web player addon installed.... I never have any problems. IE is a bad browser to use anyway. also, is it every stage 6 video you try, or just certain ones? if its certain ones, it could be an encoding error. There are about 5 videos on joox.net that freeze my old PC up even when using firefox.

yea, my plugins are updated. I have the same problem (Only as of late) I get errors everytime with divx and firefox has to shut down a few moments afterwards. I'm contacting divx.com cause I don't see in the FAQs. I'll post back with any updates.

Same problem, my system seems to crash when I have 2 windows of Stage6 open or Joox open. This last week has been terrible for watching vids. I have cable and I still have a buffering problem and I also get that problem with the repeated words. Its almost like its going to lock up and crash your system but it then continues before it does. I have had major uploading problems too. Finally, I have been using the player to upload and it seems to work a little better.

Another thing if your posting links that your know are going to be taken down soon leave a message with that uploader telling him/her to hide her films better. I also think that there are Stage6 spies posing as friends so they can keep an eye on those that post a lot of movies. Movies might last longer if you warn these poster's.

I am going to say this again...
I use opera when on stage6...
doesnt get past the buffer issues that all browsers have but windows is much more stable when I use opera to stage6...
a little different in how is goes about dowloading but it works nicely...
much better than firefox or internet explorer when working with stage6...

weird, I've not had any probs out of stage6 with firefox yet, only joox. I havent been able to figure out how to upload with the PC version of the DivX player tho, it just shows me whats already been uploaded. Is that a DivX pro feature?

Yeah, it happens to be now and again but only on odd occasions.

I use Firefox too.

Hopefully it will be fixed, I guess stage6 is still in a late kind of beta stage as they are changing and adapting things every day and they still have a lot of problems to iron out.

Best advice is to watch vids on stage6 with as little windows or tabs open as possible.

I'm having the exact same problem on my comp... I guess it's tough to complain when watching free movies but does get a bit frustrating when your an hour into a flick and my computer crashes and then have to wait for it to download back to the spot I was at......Glad to hear I'm not alone as I thought it may be an issue with my comp but now sounds more like a divx issue instead.
