Is it me or the Audio/Video is off by a mili second on the HD movies. Im using Avidemux to join them on my Mac. The last movie i downloaded Pulp Fiction is off by a mili second. Is it like that with everybody or is something wrong?

no none of the videos are off, try virtualdub to join but first see if the individual parts are out of sync by playing them one by one in vlc player, if that doesn't diagnose the problem post back smile.gif

Well i cant use virtual Dub since i have a mac. But im downloading Transformers right now and ill check them one by one to see if they are in sync. Do i have to use vlc or can i just use the regular divx player.??

I'd suggest using VLC.

If you're using the QuickTime player (or any player app that's dependent on QuickTime for decoding), be aware that Perian can sometimes cause audio sync issues. Fortunately, it's relatively simple to deactivate (and then activate) via System Preferences (a single button click will do either).

ok i should use VLC to check if the video is in sync.

So when im using a program to join the videos should i turn off perian like u said or just when im checking for if its in sync?

AFAIK, it shouldn't affect the joining process if it's active (although if I were using the QuickTime player to do the joining, I might still deactivate it).

I mean the thing is i just downloaded Doom, opened it with Divx player to see that the sync was a lil off then i went to ALC and check it was perfect. I dont know whats wrong. I also downloaded Pitch Black and joined it with Avidemux, im watching it now on my tv and its off a lil bit. But i guess i can live with it but it kinda annoys me thou.

Not entirely positive... but I use Avidemux also cuz I have a mac as well.... I've tried messing around with the audio to sync it up with the video.. like you I have the same problems when playing them on my tv. Sometimes I can pause the video... and the audio will catch up, but after doing this a thousand times it's pretty irritating. Under audio on the left side of Avidemux it says shift... and you can shift the audio plus or minus miliseconds.... if I were you I'd try messing around with that option..
