Boris BLUE - 3D Creativity with Real-Time Performance. Now available as both a plugin for Avid systems and as a standalone. Perfect for post facilities with client-supervised sessions or demanding deadlines, Blue uses the latest generation NVIDIA GPU-based graphics cards to provide an interactive effects design experience. Blue delivers real-time processing of 2D and 3D effects as well as real-time playback of video and audio media.

Users can adjust effect parameters during playback, a "front room" capability that is ideal for working side by side with clients. The fast export to disk, including hardware rendered anti-aliasing, motion blur, and 3D shadows, provide significant time savings.

Boris Blue is available as both an AVX 2 plugin for Windows based Avid editors and as a standalone 3D compositor for Windows XP. Boris Red 4.3 New Features

• Subtitle Improvements - In this update we now support the Adobe Encore subtitle format. This extends RED's subtitling capability by giving the user a text based format to import from.

• Library Browser Workflow Enhancements - Changes have been made to our Library Browser making the workflow while inside a host application much more user friendly. First we now call our Browser Only Mode Template Mode and have labeled the button for accessing this mode accordingly. Text entry for title effects has also been addressed. When you select an effect the text is now inserted into the Text Entry window and becomes editable. For effects with Multiple lines (ex. lower thirds) TABS are used to seapate the lines.

• New Host Support - Red 4.3 adds support for latest Avid Media Composer and Symphony editing suites.

Boris RED 4.3.2 enables installation into After Effects CS 4 and Premiere Pro CS 4 on PC systems running Windows XP and Vista.
