One of FDR's most popular New Deal programs, the CCC put three million young men to work in the nation's forests and parks, planting trees, building flood barriers, fighting fires, and maintaining roads and trails.

Fantastic PBS documentary ,A must see. How the 1930's dust bowl and depression was helped to heal.
