What do you all think of this show?

I watched the first two episodes the other night and normally enjoy this type where they pair up unusual duos to be the main characters. I haven't made my mind up whether i'll like this one or not yet though. The concept is good, the storylines are good but i don't really get the conman feel from Neal Caffrey. They're showing him as super smart but cutting out most of the conning dialougue, for example the lady in the store that he persuaded to let him live in her house... they show you the opportunity presenting itself to him, him seeing that opportunity and getting that look on his face then they cut away to another scene.

It's a new show so it has time to develop though and perhaps i'm comparing it a bit too much against Leverage, a show that's not quite the same but it's the showing you exactly how they do their wacky cons that help keep it interesting. Hopefully they give it a bit more depth.

I dont see any resemblence to leverage but Mentalist, Castle. Those kind of tv shows are releasing a lot and getting not attractive much. But i like this one coz i can easily concentrate on theme of every episode without any sexual intense between main characters:) Sex sells this a motto and works :) Yeah i wonder about house owner she told her husband was a thief too but not cleared out in details. And last episode his girlfriend gave a clue by mors alphabet. and used bottle that wasnt told what clue it carries. I am afraid of that abduction of girlfriend will be about only stealing things that he stole before. that will be only a lame ending. anyway it is early before jumping a conclusion. I hope it willnot take many episodes to clear the fogs we predict as in Stargate Universe :))

Aye, the comparism to Leverage doesn't really fit. I believe i was thinking along the lines of the way their cons are eventually explained in an entertaining way whereas in White Collar Neal's are more alluded to than detailed. As you say though, it's early so what we're seeing just now may just be the ground work for later episodes.

i dont think theres any resemblence to leverage cause in leverage, they are still theifs just working for the good guys... Neal Has no Choice, and hes only using it to his advantage at the moment, i doubt he will be in the FBI much longer... i think hes figureing out what happened to his girlfriend and will run to save her... and his close friend will be the way he succeeds in cracking it...!

Sorry if i dont make much sense, I have horrible Grammar!
