I read about this movie on Bloody-Disgusting.com didn't realize it was a remake and that it was based on true events. Great something to watch for the weekend.

Agreed. I find it amazing that for a film of 2009, it looks exactly like the quality of movie that would come from the 80's. Everything from the way it was shot, to the credits and right down the line to the clothing. It really felt like a product of the 80's, and that was brilliant. Unfortunately that was the only real highlight.

We watched this last night and it was pretty good. I love how it takes place in the 80's and has that creep 80's horror kind of feel. Nice suspense and ambiance (along with the blood, of course).
