Painkiller: Resurrection is an upcoming 2009 first-person shooter action video game developed by Homegrown Games and published by JoWooD. It is a sequel to 2004 Painkiller developed by People Can Fly, and runs on an updated version of the Painkiller engine. It is scheduled to be released in 2009 for Microsoft Windows, with the possibility of an Xbox 360 port coming some time after.
