don't you think the older you get the worse birthdays are...
you get less stuff, it get boringer because nobody can do anything proper at once for your birthday coz they all have different commitments.
only the special 1's matter
like 18, 21,30,40,50 etc
what you recon?

my b-day is just like any other day to be quite honest, I haven't celebrated it in the traditional sense in years.... I do have myself a few stiff drinks tho.

For me it is just another day. I tend to forget it. To be honest, I think someone wished me a Happy Birthday on here this year and I saw it a day or so later and that was how I knew i had missed it. When I am wished a happy birthday by family I'm just amazed anyone remembers. Truth is, it depresses me.

Every birthday is a gift of one more year and one more opportunity to try and not screw it up! I don't care if I get presents anymore, I just want my boys to remember it's my birthday and call me... that's good enough for me.

Heh, after 40 the attitude towards birthdays changes somewhat.

I think I'm more introspective/reflective about it all than I was even at 35 or so.
Still, it is fun, and a good excuse for getting free stuff/drinks is always fine by me.

For me Birthdays are a great reason to get all my friends together and catch up, have a drink and spend a day or two off work....oh and replenish my depleted sock drawer!
sorry but i can not stop myself...Boringer is not a word, it would be more boring!

The last few years I spend my birthday with a bottle of Canadian Club, and I celebrate my late parents, was their day as much as mine

Damn. I never thought of it like that. I should.

18 - Everyone remembers that killer party!
21 - No one remembers that killer party, due to intoxication! (Awesome!)
30, 40 - No one remembers your "killer party" except your family.
50 - Everyone remembers your party cause your getting old.
50+ - No one remembers your even alive!
**Well, so far I'm two down and too many to go! lol Always remember, that no matter how old you get physically it's how young at heart you feel.

no matter what goes wrong on your b-day, or how old you are, show your I.D. at the nudie bar.
