Plot:
Alfred Packer was a mountain guide and sole survivor of a party of pioneers that got lost in the mountains in winter. Accused and convicted of murdering and eating his travelling companions, he was to be executed by hanging.The movie begins at his trial, where he pleads his innocence to an unsympathetic audience. Only reporter Polly Pry will listen to his story, which is then related to the viewers in the form of flashbacks. As Packer and his gold-prospecting clients make their way through the forests and mountains, they encounter bemused Japanese Indians, an unimpressed group of mountain men and the brutal Rocky Mountain winter, all of which inspire the travellers to break out into song and dance.

I was debating whether or not to put this in the comedy section or the horror section when I posted it. It does have more comedy than horror, so maybe I'll move it to comedy instead.

The 'horror' in this to me is comedy, ...especially the scene near the opening... lmao at shot where Trey Parker just stops commiting as actor and walks off camera, as he's cannibalizing.

edit* i mean...you have to know this is from the South Park guys right? trey parker, matt stone, both in this..it's their college film (or right after college, i forgot)

Anyone looking for this movie by title will be looking in comedy.

Thx for doing a great job Trebek. (suck up so he moves movie where I!!! think it belongs...mewhahaha)

I'm fully aware that this film is by Trey Parker...I just figured that it deals with cannibals, and has some gore, and gory cannibal films usually go in the horror section. The comedy outweighs the horror in this case though, so I'll move it.
