Full Version: The Tournament (2009)
That film was awesome, just one big kick off from start to finish. Highly recommend
First, let me start by saying "Thank You."
Secondly, I had never heard of this film before.
Third is the film was not very original in overall plot.
Fourth is the stunts and such were what a summer blockbuster out of Hollywood wishes they could do.
Fifth, considering the plot, script etc, the actors, one and all, delivered in top notch fashion.
Last but least as well, I recommend the film if you are into this Dangerous Game genre. It is not usually my cuppa tea but I was never bored.

If some top level directors spend a good amount of time with this movie and its action execution it would have been up there.
The premise of the story is good. The execution...not so good. I was going to give it a 6/10, but as you sit through the entire movie this starts to drop and so a final 4/10.
Give it a miss if you can. The movie looks like it was shot with a camera that was used for 1980's movies!

you are very mistaken. This movie does everything it's meant to. And that is entertain

I have to wonder what you were looking for.
I found the story and the action to be top notch.
it does what it says on the tin....cant imagine what you were expecting
I thought it was one of the best gorefest/action flicks of the year,i also thought the camera work,stunts & fight scenes were all top draw so i am now thinking that if watch any film you think is shite i cannot go far wrong.
