There should be NO:

1. Threats to hurt/attack or abuse to another member through chat main or by pm's - this includes racism, sexism or any other form of personal attack.
2. Abuse to the community - keep your personal dramas out of chat.
3. Impersonating another member or a member of QSS staff - For security reasons we ask that you use only one name and please register it.
4. Porn/Spamming/Flooding/Advertising of third party sites, this includes rick rolls or even random garbage - although we do allow you to pm links (ONLY if you are asked for them).

We would also like to remind members to NOT give any personal information out in our chat room i.e. home address, telephone number, school you attend, personal email...etc. Please refrain from using all caps and over the top swearing. If you wish to have a conversation in a language other than English please use pm's. Please remember to keep all controversial topics to the appropriate place - Usually the Underground in our forums is the best place for these or you can choose to go into the Religion & Politics room and hash out the worlds problems to your hearts content.

If a chat mod sends you a message in red text asking you to please stop doing something, STOP doing it. Breaking these rules and/or ignoring the chat mods will lead to your being gagged, kicked from the room or having your chat account banned.

Tips for problems with other chatters:

• Members are requested to contact our team of moderators directly for help if they feel someone is acting inappropriately. Please give the chat mod all relevant information. A chat mod may at their discretion, kick/ban that user.
• Please do not override main chat with melodramatic nonsense. Opinions may vary, so agree to disagree.
• Still don't see eye-to-eye? Right-click + Choose ignore. This feature blocks all messages/PMs from the other member = pure unadulterated bliss!

Public discussions of the above are not to be brought onto the forums. Posting chat issues in the forums -other than connection problems with java, or needing a mod present, etc- can result in a warning from the Global Moderators. Any queries or complaints regarding rule breaking, kicks, and bans should be addressed to the chat moderators via PM. For any issues regarding problems you feel were not resolved, or, if you feel you've been treated unfairly, please contact our Chat Admins RachelCake, dede444 and hitme. If you still feel you need assistance you can contact the Administrators of QSS.

While these guidelines cover most situations, we cannot anticipate everything that may arise. Therefore, the staff reserves the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the chat is not disrupted or abused in any way. A chat rooms success is created by the users that are in it so use good judgment and enjoy!
