Whoa. Hitchens is in rare form. Both theists and non-theists can agree that he stole the show, and made the most enlightened points.

Watch this doc and make any sort of argument that Catholicism will thrive in the future. That religion is dead in the water, as evidenced by their representation on the panel. The Muslim representation was interesting and brutally honest... if not evasive.

The best thing about this panel is that it shows that atheism will not only better humanity, but it will also do the things that religion simply can not do. No theist else can even touch the issues that the atheist thinkers tackle, like same-sex marriage, euthanasia, a women's right to choose, etc.

I thought Hitchens came over as a bit of a twat to be honest,he has all the answers so there's no need for the constant attitude.

I was impressed with Waleed Aly though,he's the type of person that Muslims the world over need to push to the forefront of Islam but sadly that'll never happen because he's not all fire and brimstone (atleast not in public)
