You have GOT to see this movie. I caught the 11 am EST movie and was surprised there were only a handful of people there. It was a great movie and I intend to see it again. I laughed a lot, jumped out of my seat a few times and even had tears. Make sure to stay at the end of the credits for a small scene.

This movie was sick. I actually saw it a week ago in boston. Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg were there doing a Q&A session. It was a lot of fun. By far though this movie has the best cameo I have ever witnessed.

I went and saw this, was thinking," Okay, this is gonna be your typical zombie movie with some comedy added in." BALLS THAT. This movie was epic. After seeing Inglorious Bastards I didn't think anything could top it. But, I was wrong. This movie definitely gets my best movie of the year award. Hilarious, sweet action scenes, and Emma Stone is a freaking fox. I'm gonna watch it once a videos posted, of course. But I urge you to go watch it in theaters. I'm going again for the third time tomorrow night. SO AMAZING.

Is this Hollywood trying to capitalize on the success of British zombie comedy Shaun of the dead.Considering all the new remakes of old films and similar story lines of a lot of movies i say yes.

I have been wanting to see this one. can't wait till it gets posted up on this site.

bill murray showing up was awesome, really made the movie worth sitting through. while i may not think it was that good i still enjoyed it for the cameo and a bit of the old ultra-violence . it at least made it worth sitting in my computer chair for an hour and a half.

I loved this movie as did many but im wondering how you think it compares to Shaun of the Dead, imo Shaun is one of my favorite movies of all time so its no where close to that but it was fun, funny, and wonderfully cast.

not a fan of zombie flicks.

I had a good time watching it, and I don't even like zombie flicks. There were one or two moments that made me jump outta my seat.
BM had a minor role, but what a role it was! One thing though, am I the only one that thinks that Jesse Eisenberg resembles Michael Cera?

i have a different opinion on this movie cause to me was poorly written from the start to the end and the only real enjoyable personage was woody. not an hater just pointing out some flaw (for me) of the movie:
sorry for my eng i learnt it watching tv so i understand very well but my accent and my writing..well you can see for yourself sorry

saw weeks ago so maybe i'm wrong on some point don't eat me plz

1) for all the movie until the very end the sensation is that they are alone at the world cause there are very very few zombies

2) the reason for the guy to go to find a twinkle in a post apocaliptic world is so a rip-off. nothing wrong with that, just unimaginative cause everyone who watch a movie like this is also the perfect target for the other show that have the exact theme in one of the best episode (and you get the show right? don't make me say it)

3) the girls are basically retarded in their intent of going to a theme park (don't remember if there is a spec reason) and if it is not good enough they arrive and destroy the gate and first of all........lets'have a ride on the rollercoaster and don't forget to light up everything it's so dark and scary maybe there are ghost...uumm no just zombies fiiiiuuuuu.

4) the part with stephen murray is ridicolous. first the fact that he put on zombie like make up is clearly on omage (not a rip of of course this movie is nothing like shaun is just an OMAGE) to shaun zombie like walk, cause he doesn't really have a reason to do that cause the house is surrounded of walls, making it a good reason for the guys to stay in and end this bullshit of twinkle and theme park (if you were there you wouldn't try to convince the girl of renounce this stupid idea and just chill out have some food, drink some beers, watch a movie in the full scale cinema while smoking weed and then fuck on the very bill murray bed!!!!!!! i mean fuck twinkle fuck theme park and fuck my family the girl is freaking hot let's repopulate the world baby!!!!!!!!!!!

5)i was forgotting.....if the world is taken by zombies and you happen to have zombie like make up of course you will find a good idea to jump on to heavly armed girl from behind who know what could happen. a pretty good laugh ( now tell me you don't got the idea first second he move to do the joke)

6) do the number the guy write on the cars door mean somethig? i can't recall

7) cheap cheap laugh (almost family guy nonsensical joke...) the best kill of the week. that was very very cheap. in shaun everyone is terrorized, in this, seing a old hag releasing a piano on the zombie head...... c'mon she even crack a smile watching the horror, in the figure of a bloody undead that run like a gazelle with the only purpose to eat you alive, running for her for me was just lame (and i even laughted the first time after i was so disappointed)



so what i really don't understand is what the fuzz about this movie it is watchable at maximum for me

yea i admit today i had time to loose when i saw this post.
but still you can't deny there are solid questions.....especially do not live a milionaire house if the world is ended you got food alchool and weed (if i have those i don't live the house today) and especially...................that piece of ass, seriusly are those eyes or bonermagnets??? (do bonermagnet make sense in eng??)

what do you expect, its a spoof movie, but, ill try to destroy your questions:

1) zombies eat people, so, makes sense that after a few weeks, zombies would go where the people are, and not stick around.
2) its a old saying that twinkies are the only food that would survive a appocalypse, so you will see it in different shows/movies, family guy did it too...
3) the lights where on the same grid as the atractions, so flipping one switch would light up the whole place... also, they where being dumb, didnt realize the noise would atract zombies.
4) dont get what your question is but yeah, having a celeb in a mantion is basicly a big gag, could have been anyone, still was awesome.
5) its called a plot device...
6)prolly a nascar refference, and that character is basicly stereotype cowboy redneck, he HAS to love nascar.
7) its a spoof movie, expect cheese... shaun of the dead had cheesy gags too... i liked the narration, felt like a mix of a zombie diary and hitchhikersguidetothegalaxy.

why people mostly like this movie is coz all this belongs in a horror comedy, i enjoyed it a lot, but i wouldnt have if i expected a scary movie or serious action...

finished watching this last night. i absolutely loved it. bill murray's bit was awesome... "i saw eddie van halen at the hollywood bowl" "oh yeah? how is he?" "he's a zombie." what i really enjoyed about his part was that he was entirely willing to spoof his own career. mark wahlberg will punch you in the balls if you bring up marky mark and the funky bunch. bill murray's running around using a vacuum to match woody harrelson in the ghostbusters' outfit (even calling him peter).

after watching 'adventureland,' i felt that jesse eisenberg was very close to michael cera. having now watched zombieland, he's a totally different guy. michael cera is the hyper-polite, perpetually embarrassed and uncomfortable (which worked great on 'arrested development,' but has worn thin since) guy who is always the quiet, indie-rock good guy. jesse eisenberg is dirtier, darker, and has a more wicked sense of humor.
