Excellent find zaarco! Secrecy as a seductive monopoly game of power and control. One's inability to connect the dots is not indicative of an inadequacy in sharing information, rather it's an intentional covert strategy of concealment and compartmentalization. The service and protection of information supersedes a society's need..to know or not know!

I actually enjoyed ths..was a fairly balanced view of something that indeed is an issue..but to disclose EVERYTHING is a no-go..Something is SECRET and TOP SECRET and CTS(Cosmic Top Secret) for a reason..thats because civilians do not need to know these things..and it would be bad if they did..(Im talking about order sheets 5.point/troop movement/secret weaponary&projects + some other stuff..

F.exaple I have Sec.Clearance SECRET and TOP SECRET when on deployment..that doesnt mean that I "know who the 3d gunman on the grassy knoll is"..but I do know a lot of stuff that I am not allowed to say to you for example..if you have ever been to the military Compulsary or voluntary you will appriciate the value of secrets..
While I do agree that some info..after careful consideration can be released to the public..this swings both ways..and may result in a blowback WCS...9/11 could have been prevented by less secrecy..but 9/11 could be avoided by less media leaks as well,as they had a tap going,and it went dead..
