AIO Quick FAQ's:

- What is a 'AIO'?
AIO stands for 'all in one'. It's an application that contains multiple programs within it.

- How do I use it?
Just download the file, then unzip, click on the program icon and the program will load, once loaded, select the program you would like from the AIO, click on the program name and it will automatically start the install progress for you.
NOTE: You only install what you want or need.

- Is it clean and safe?
All the software contained in the AIO is freeware, and have all been checked for spyware, virus etc.

- Who made it?

1. DivX 7 Bundle (WIN & MAC versions)

Description: The DivX 7 bundle is a free software download that allows you to watch DivX/XviD/AVI videos online or from your computer.

Priority Level: Required

General: DivX is a basic, but essential component in watching movies in the HD section. Currently all the HD movies require it for streaming.

2. VLC Player (WIN & MAC versions)

Description: VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player and multimedia framework capable of reading most audio and video formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, mp3, ogg, aac ...) as well as DVDs, Audio CDs VCDs.

Priority Level: Optional

General: The VLC Player is a widely used supplemental media player with a variety useful features.

3. K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (WIN only)

Description: K-Lite Mega Codec Pack is a collection of codecs, DirectShow filters and tools. Codecs and DirectShow filters are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video formats. The K-Lite Mega Codec Pack is designed as an user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files. With K-Lite Codec Pack you should be able to play all the popular audio and video formats and even some rare formats.

Priority Level: Recommended

General: K-Lite will resolve virtually all audio codec issues and is highly recommended for Windows users.

4. AC3 Filter (WIN only)

Description: AC3 Filter is a high quality free audio decoder and processor filter. It allows media players to playback movies with AC3 and DTS audio tracks.

Priority Level: Recommended*

General: You will need at least the AC3 filter to hear videos encoded with AC3.

*NOTE: If you install the K-Lite Codec pack you do not need to install the AC3 filter too. It's included here as a minimal solution for AC3 audio issues.

5. Perian (MAC only)

Description: Perian is an open source plug-in which enables QuickTime to play several popular video formats not supported natively by QuickTime on Mac OS X.

Priority Level: Recommended

I Am happy to do movie rips ... but is there any way to get a HD Movie from a normal DVD?

ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 with SimHD plugin (works only if you have NVIDEA or select ATI cards) or COREL WINDVD9

I can't unzip this file with a mac..... any recommendations?????

what the hell is the point of a Windows (EXE) with Mac DMG installs in?

They wanted apps to work for both operating system. there is a same tool for each os

and just a side note: I've found that virtual dub is the best for joining the HD movies/tv shows if the second video file is a little different in size other programs won't accept it.
