Burton, Jeremy Jones Model/Burlington, Vermont (Ski Press)-Burton announced dates for its global movie tour, which will include the debut of its snowboard film “For Right or Wrong” in 22 cities around the world. Kicking off in Tokyo on October 14, the “For Right or Wrong” tour will include film premieres, rider autograph sessions and after-parties.

Produced by Mandalay Entertainment, “For Right or Wrong” takes an inside look at what it’s like to snowboard for a living and combines action and documentary-style footage about riders’ lives both on and off the hill. The movie carves out individual story lines that focus on the different facets of pro snowboarding, including: the urban snowboard scene; the competitive snowboard lifestyle and a riding trip to Russia with Jake Burton, his oldest son George and select Burton team riders.

“When we set out to create ‘For Right or Wrong’ our vision was to show the variety in snowboarders’ personalities, their riding styles and the terrain they ride - all from an insider’s viewpoint,” says Jake Burton, Founder and Chairman of Burton Snowboards. “It’s a perspective on our sport that has never been seen before.”

Shaun White, Keir Dillon, Kelly Clark, Jake Burton Carpenter, George Carpenter, David Carrier-Porcheron, Terje Haakonsen, Dave Downing, Mads Jonsson, Jeremy Jones and Nicolas Müller all star in the movie, which was filmed in Japan, New Zealand, Italy, Norway, Russia, California, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, New Jersey, Vermont, Minnesota and Alaska.

“‘For Right or Wrong’ takes a good look at the different aspects of snowboarding,” says Burton Global Team Rider Jeremy Jones. “There’s great action and even better dialog - this film will crack you up.”

The Burton Movie Tour will also show “Guy in the Sky - The Process 5”, a short snowboard action film that showcases the Burton Global Team.

Nice find, thanks. It's interesting to see a boarding (snow, skate) video that goes a little deeper into the riders themselves.
