A very interesting time watching. The senior Coppola's scoring was remarkable reminding me of a television series called "Victory at Sea." That series was scored by the great Richard Rogers who in addition to working for NBC later found time to do Oklahoma, South Pacific, The King and I, The Sound of Music and dozens of other productions. Stallion is clearly a child's story and Mickey Rooney was terrific. Terri Garr felt helpless (she made up for entire career in "Young Frankenstein"). On a whim, watched "Seabiscuit" again and marveled just how good Jeff Bridges was. "Black" was a fiction. The Biscuit really did help rally a country.
Thanks again for the patience and re-posting a wonderful film experience.
