GOOD SHOW-I like that "EACH" applicant gets a chance at an investment, unlike "American Inventor" where they choose just one...this show fits great into the "Apprentice/American Inventor" fan base...bad thing is them airing out their ideas for all the world to copy, I'm thinking after watching this episode a few more college kids might get into the packing and moving stuff business and cause those guys business to drop (competition)

This is just Dragon's Den repackaged.

American Version of Dragons Den.

Usually what happens is someone creates a show like 'who wants to be a millionaire' or 'pop idol' and then if it's popular other tv networks around the world buy the license to do the same show and American, canadian versions come out etc. So what's the story with shark tank, did ABC just rip off dragon's den 'cause they didn't want to pay the license or did they pay for the license to use the format but just decided to rebrand it?

Not exactly sure but from the looks of it it seems to me that one of the "sharks" probably made the show which was picked up by ABC. Because the Main shark, the 3.2 Bil Bold guy in the middle was actually in Dragons Den for a bit. Another fun fact is that Both the Bold 3.2bil guy from Shark tank and the nice guy on the very right seat from Dragons Den were in an American show called "American Inventor" which only lasted 1 season.

Note Hall, what's up with that, can't you just go stalk around the class and ask who ever looks friendly to let you make a 10 cents copy. I don't approve of this product/service at all.
