I seen a Bluenose just the other day,
I asked what's happened to the white Pele,
He wore a t-shirt he was always a Blue,
But now he's fucked off and he's gone to Man U.
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
So he asked why did he go ?
I said it's cos your shite and ye have no dough.
The chairman's skint, the team needs class
And his bird found out he was shagging a brass!
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Now Wayne's gone he is Munich bound,
Greedy fat cunt needs to shed a few pound.
The chairman said he left the club in a wreck,
They got twenty odd million for a look-a-like Shrek
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
Once a Blue always a manc
And So Coleen sat in her chair,
Flicking through the papers and brushing her hair,
She turned the page and the headlines hit her,
Wayne Rooney takes prozzies up the shitter !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhFrWixvw9Y

sad thing to read...
so why is it used as a dig against man utd fans?

Aug 4 2009, 01:15 PM
it's just a pure hatred between liverpool and man utd really and not much seems to be off limits when they get going. The liverpool fans will use the munich disaster because they know how sensitive a subject it is. Nowadays man utd are the more succesfull of the 2 so the liverpool fans stoop to non football insults a bit faster, this was completely reversed in the 80's when Liverpool were the better team on the pitch and man utd's fans stooped to the non football stuff. It goes around in circles really and munich/hillsborough are usually used as a last resort.

Football rivalries are a very strange thing in general. There are similar things the world over. each country has 1 big derby game at least with a similar level of hate involved. My local team York city had it with local rivals scarborough untill a few years ago when they went bankrupt and had to fold. Both teams could hope for 2-3000 fans at most but the hatred was similar to any other derby. It is commonplace in football the world over at every level. The hooligan years played a big part in making it worse.

The Liverpool Manchester rivalry goes right the way back to the Industrial age HitMe,that's the Cities not the Clubs but like i said you'll never get it mate because of how your Sports Teams are allowed to migrate to where the money is.

i know mate i'm just explaining the rivalry as best i can, i'm talking about general banter and the hatred in general not just the chants. It's pretty difficult to look at and explain something that you have always taken for granted. I'm not in favour of you lot or the mancs but i do tend to dislike your current set up more these days, I think that's because i work with a lot of liverpool fans most of whom are very closed minded about any other teams. I'm not saying that Liverpool fans are like that in general though just the armchairs i work with.

There's not another set of fans on the planet that would've stayed behind and clapped you off after you won the league in the last seconds of the season Phil,i was devastated and wanted out (was 14) but the old man made me stay behind and do the right thing.
Armchair fans in general are just a pain in the arse there are not many that i can stand talking footy with.

the think that sticks in my memory is the reception you gave the god henry when he last played at anfield. and the schmeichel applause. it's just a shame the supporters inside and outside the ground are so different.

Henry was one of, if not the best strikers to play in the EPL for me. I was gutted he left for Spain, he was an absolute legend to the English game. Players like him should be respected by all clubs, and all clubs fans for what he did for the EPL, as should Shearer, Giggs, Scholes, Berkamp, Gerrard, van Nistelrooy and other such legends of the English game.
Just because we clap doesn't mean we alone are special - Henry had said before hand that he respected Liverpool fans above every fan he had ever played in front of, I think that had something to do with the reception he got ^^

While South American derbies can close down cities because of there size, the UK Derbies are a thoroughly Historic affair, thus the intensity. For instance the Tyne Wear Derby can be traced back to the English Civil War.
