We know that John Terry is 'Mr. Chelsea' but do they need him as bad as they think?

Living without John
kwacka
I dont think so,Carvallio will be missed more.

I liken Terry/Carvallio to Vidic/Rio.............Vidic is essential but Rio is the Brains in the pair whereas Vidic is the brawn.

Terry is is the same as Vidic only not as good,he gets turned easily and in the last euros/wc Rio saved his ass on more than one occasion, yet never got the plaudits except amongst those that understand the game

I was surprised when i read the stats if i'm being honest. Always thought chelski looked like they missed terry when he wasnt playing
colnechris
terry is very overrated, have been saying it for years. if he wasnt english he wouldnt be spoken about very much at all. but if man city wanna pay that kind of money for him, go ahead.......fools

'This means that the Pensioners have now gone 20 games undefeated without their Captain in the line-up, leaving new manager Carlo Ancelotti to ponder how vital he is to Chelsea's continued success'.

i thought that was just joe cole and frank lampard, after all drogba is a gimp ;0)

so chelsea are the rentboys, we need the real nicknames for the rest of the top 4 anyone any ideas lol

back to JT, personally i dotn think they will miss him i quite like the look of that i thikn croatian or serbian kid scored a couple of good goals to last term when he got a chance in the side, cant for the life of me remember his name, if he does go they need to keep cavarlo (spelt wrong u no who i mean) but i think he wants to join up with his sugar daddy at inter ;0)

thats the badger, yep ur right he did but he also can play in the centre, he did cover there couple of times, seems more natural in the centre to me, he's a big lad reminds me of vidic which cant be a bad thing.

JT is a leader and the heart of the team.I have seen games without him where chelsie looked weak and disorientated and he has scored many important goals for them so yes i think they do need him...

I remember the first leg Chelsea v Liverpool Champs League when the commentaters said "It looks like Liverpool will target the weak stand in right back Ivanovic, he doesn't look comfortable in the back four for me" (Andy Grey this was btw)

After he scored his second goal "What a player this guy is, what a player"... He hasn't the slightest what he's on about half the time. Can't stand that twat, god.
