Ahmed acquires 60% of a leading English football club

WAM Ras Al Khaimah, 21st June 2009 (WAM) -- Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Customs and Seaports, has acquired 60 per cent of a leading English club of premier league Sheikh Ahmed will be the honorary chairman of the club.
More details about the deal will be announced at a press conference to be held within the few coming days.

Na i'd bet my left bollock that it isn't us,the guy who's trying to buy Pompey is Mohammad Al-Fahim the playboy arab,i wouldn't be surprised if he's bringing Al Qasimi in as senior partner though.
The only thing that's having me doubt it's Pompey is 'Ahmed acquires 60% of a leading English football club',calling Pompey a leading Club is a stretch no ?
No idea where he's made his money or how much he's worth (Arabs are secretive aint they) all i can find is that they are the Leaders in Cement manufacture,pharmaceuticals and ceramics in the UAE and they have a huge state of the art Docks.
