Nova

As entertaining as it is informative, NOVA explores headline-grabbing innovations and discoveries from our past, present and future, demystifying the science and technology along the way while highlighting the human side of the people "who make science happen."

Nova scienceNOW

From the award-winning producers of NOVA, NOVA scienceNOW is a fast-paced and provocative science magazine show that highlights four timely science and technology stories per episode. Launched in 2005, the show is hosted by renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Note: I have found that some of the videos in the alpha version do not play so well in Windows Media Player. So, in order to enjoy some of those particular videos you may find the need for Apple - QuickTime. However, the later lists contain videos posted on their beta site, and play directly on their media player.

Cosmic Quandaries lecture at the palladium theater at St. Petersburg collage featuring Neil deGrasse Tyson. (a question and answer kinda thing)

Neil deGrasse Tyson has a pretty distinguished career-- he's an astrophysicist, the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Natural Museum of History in Manhattan and somehow still manages to host NOVA Science Now as well as frequently appearing on The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and whatever science shows need a cool-ass astrophysicist.
The whole thing is an hour and a half, (the first 15 min are introductions then it starts) and well worth your time. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a great speaker and a brilliant man.
