Two of the most feared welterweight boxers in the world stepped into the ring to face each other this weekend as Miguel Cotto battled Joshua Clottey. HBO televised this fight live from Madison Square Garden on Saturday night and Cotto's welterweight title was on the line.

Thank you for this post! I'm a huge Cotto fan and I think he should still be undefeated going into this fight since his only loss is to Antonio Margarito who is serving a one year suspension for using plastor in his gloves. Brass knuckles anyone?

I also like Clottey who also lost to Margarito after he broke both of his hands in the middle rounds of that fight and continued to be competitive. This kid has lots of heart.

Thanks for link, it was a great fight.

Fantastic performance from Cotto. Even with a cut he had a great fight. I have to say, Clottey looked the better fighter for half way point, but for his sportsmanship in the ring, I couldn't be happier with the decision. He's like the Drogba of boxing, horrible attitude
