They got kaka, Villa is 90 percent in the big. I am glad personally finally another team will be able to challenge the top 4 nd barcelona in the cl...

who will be the other 4 players they sign..

If berlusconis doesn't own one already, he should buy a private island and move there, because he's likely to get shot if he doesn't. He wanted to Kaka to leave for Man City, but kaka would never play for them and he wanted Kaka to leave for Madrid. He forced him out. Good luck to you Berlusconi, you're gonna need it emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

new galacticos era? erm, barcalona have a far superior team to what madrid will ever be able to get. ac milan wer massivly in debt, a poor team and wer basically desperate to off load kaka in all fairness. valencia are much the same, not a force and quite easy to poach there better players long as your willing to pay the money. in all fairness they will get ribrary aswell, cos bayern are a shambles aswell.

but as for trying to get players from mna utd, liverpool, barca, chelsea etc, they have no chance, these players and clubs all know they are MILES better than madrid. so galacticos? no....stupidly expensive squad which brings limited success? probably....knock barca off there perch? not a chance.

Milan are not massively in debt.
colnechris
funny that, considering there losing €70million a season isnt it?

i would call that massively in debt.

It's easy for some nomark journo to pull a figure out of his arse but you rarely see said journo break it down and actually prove his brainfart.

I'd be interested in seeing the breakdown though if you have it handy.

Like i said it's easy to pluck a number out of the air and not back it up just like the espn hack has done.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted that Kaka is leaving the club this team, unlike what happened in January with the Manchester City saga.

Galliani declared that the decision was taken due to economic issues and that the Rossoneri could not reject such a high offer again.

"Milan cannot lose €70 million every year," explained the director to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Even the heart must face the numbers, but we are not demobilising. A great attacker, a forward, will arrive, since next year we will play with the 4-3-1-2. I hope the fans understand."

Galliani then denied that any of the other important players are leaving.

"[Alexandre] Pato, [Andrea] Pirlo and [Clarence] Seedorf are not for sale," he confirmed.

Galliani's own words. Add to that the fact Berlusconi's lost hundreds of millions in the current world finacial melt down. There's even been reports of his daughter beggin him to sell Milan due to his and Milan's financial state /shrug

EDIT: According to Forbes, his measurable wealth has fallen 3 billion USD (approx) in 12 months, that's a 27.5% fall . That's pretty much the same story for the worlds uber rich gits (probably excluding oil barons smile.gif)

We're in the same posistion as you lot,all be it with half the debt/half the intrest not sure where you heard that about Europe because if that's the case then none of the top 4 will be allowed to take part.

your the united fan so you tell us...

united are in a much better position than liverpool for 1 thing.

taken from anfield online -

Liverpool said it had been granted a license to play in next season’s Champions League, access to which is contingent on proving the business is a “going concern.”

The owners say they have no plans to walk away from the 18- time English champion. Instead, they have held talks with potential investors about acquiring an equity stake and are in discussions with their bankers to extend their loan.

On July 24th, £350 million must be paid back to RBS and Wachovia, the two banks.

Where that money is going to come from God alone knows.

Not only will UEFA kick clubs out of competition for financial impairments but the Premier League can impose significant points deductions.

----------------------------------

United easily make there payments each year and can still afford to buy big name players. In 2006 we wer 1.1billion in debt, now we are 650million in debt, thats almost half our original debt gone. so dont worry about united, even if something did go wrong with us, we would be snapped up in a millisecond by anyone of 100s of billionaires. tho i would prefere if we could be a PLC again.

There is so much wrong with that post i cannot be bothered to set you straight but if you think the Glaziers have paid £450m off the loan then you're not only out of touch but amusingly you aint got a clue about the team you say you support. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Personaly i think you read one story that states $$$'s and another that says £££'s still funny though

I heard that about europe too. It was on sky sports news and as united have never had that issue i guess there must be difference between our boats, if only a slight one.

I gotto agree and I'm a UTD fan. UTD posted a pretax profit of about 70 mil last year and a turnover of 250 mil. Pre tax profit means profit made before income tax and VAT deductions. So after taking away 35 mill for income tax and the vat of 15% on 250 mil, UTD actually made a loss and quite a substancial one too

UTD to need go back to a PLC or get someone in who can pay cash upfront for the club and hopefully not even want anything out of the club (although that part's not essential). Someone with a measurable worth of 10 billion+ USD will do, as clearly the Glazer's can't afford UTD

all of the kaka transfer money will be spent by milan. they wanted to sell kaka because they need transfer funds but the owner is doing it all wrong. all he does is buy older players and a rare young player.

their business plan is to sell players in their peak to maximise revenue.

i know people will have a go at me but dont be surprised if alonso and ronaldo end up at madrid. (i repeat not that i want alonso to leave but every player has their price)
Amar
lmao at the 450m debt

neither of the united or liverpool owners paid off their debt. they paid large interest payments. if anything liverp0ol are worse off because the owners had to put 40-60m of their own money into the club to keep it running.

both clubs are in huge huge danger unless a take over happens sooner rather than later

Milan have never been a selling club so i'm not sure where you get that from

Real Madrid give up on Alonso chase
June - 9 - 2009

The new Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been speaking after securing the signature of Kaka for a world record transfer fee, and has spoken of his further transfer plans for this summer.

He says Real Madrid could be bringing in six players, but it is very unlikely that one of them will be Alonso, as Liverpool are reluctant to sell him.

He told reporters who enquired about whether Alonso would follow Kaka: “He (Alonso) is a great player but he also plays in a big team and I haven’t heard any news that they plan to sell him,”

“It’s obvious Benitez is counting on keeping him. That’s normal, he’s a good player and it wouldn’t be easy to replace him.”
