Hey guys, i was speaking to one of your members through the boards the other day about how to get videos off youtube or other video streaming websites, unfortunately we had a problem trying to obtain a saved copy on particular videos that had to be proxied. in reality, the files are already stored on your pc anyway so i done a little bit of looking into it and found a couple of nice apps i know some of you willl be interested in.
VideoCacheView: You can export your flash temporary files into .flv format. need to use it when the browser is open. it can also be configured to capture from specific directories of your choosing.
WebVideoCap: This one is different, it captures the stream as it comes in, which means it can capture all types of media. It uses the
WinPcap Driver which is pretty easy to install.
now you can save your favorite movies!
