Ok, so I discovered Big Brother while I was on bedrest during my last pregnancy. I remember hearing about it when it first aired in the US but imagined that it would be just a bunch of people sitting around a table voting until someone got voted out. Anyway it saved my sanity as there were tons of seasons to watch while I laid in bed...

I didn't think I was going to like freddy based on the interviews during the first episode. Posh is how he was described and I have learned (watching other UK reality series) being posh is a liability for these types of shows. He is just so excited to be there....That makes me like him.

I like Lisa too- I have a big soft spot in my heart for lesbians.

Anyway, who do you like? Any picks for the winner?

Damn, this piece of crap show is back around again? I hate the damn thing, but there's always those nights where there's nothing on to watch and you end up flicking over to and becoming at least semi-hooked There's just something fascinating about watching adults interact in this scenario.

...i have to agree with kabaal on this one,i hate the show and i hate the fact that by the end of it i too become semi hooked although i wouldnt go as far as describing them as adults,as for the winner i'll go for Noirin (i have a soft spot for brunets)...

Once again I agree, every year I watch the first episode just to see what they have dragged in for the general public to look at, then they set a great task and I'm like "well I can't miss this task it looks great...." - After a while I just end up watching it and when its over i always think "Why the hell did I just spend all summer watching that shite"... I regret it greatly everytime but still get suckered in every year. Bad times. :/

It is trash-tv at its finest and I enjoy hating and liking the HM's. I too liked Lisa but now she's had to many angry fits. I like Rodrigo, his mild manners are refreshing!

Yep, as usual, i ended up watching it late at night and now watching it at least every second night lol. Damn Show.

It looks as though it's going to get boring very very quickly as there really aren't too many interesting people in there this time. When they boot halfwit and Sree out, and you know they will, all that will be left are dim, boring and grumpy people.

I like big brother alot, I wanted Fredddy to win then Marcus to win, Cuz they were kinda like the three musketeers in a way for me, except always rebelling against big brother Lol. Now I want siavash to win, everyone thinks he is in it for the money when he is not, he is having fun, and people are always saying he has a gameplan but everyone has a gameplan. Charlie's Gameplan is to talk about everyone and act all innocent and you see his true colours come out but every night he says to himself he has to apologize to everyone because he wants to win.

I gave up on this show after two episodes. The audience votes them out? So much more fun to watch when the house mates vote each other out.

I can't really see Big Brother last for many more seasons, they're clearly struggling to make it entertaining these days.

Theres only going to be 2 more i gather ,one is the so called celeb bb and the second will be the last general public one,thank god,at least now that hag divena has admitted that cutting the live feed had a lot to do with it plus all the bullshit about that bollywood actress had the powers that be come down hard on the show meaning that every little bit of footage had to be viewed and edited before we could see,which meant that c4 had their hands tied on what people could see as too many twats were complaining to ofcom at the slightest thing which they though was racist etc.

Only big brother uk celebrity and big brother uk next year on E4. After that big brother will be sold to another channel, so far ITV and Sky1 has expressed interest.

UK is definitely much more involved with it, with a show every day, and additional add-on shows, longer live feeds, etc.


The public vote thing well it's just different. not sure which I like more or less, but can still scheme as can nominate and one of them will be gone, even if public likes both. But also creates a situation where they have to act to the cameras, and in housemate nominations, diary room and stuff can be honest.

I was so happy with the first 2 evicted at finale, I was so worried they'd win it or something. As I'm glad I'm not the only one that hates them both.
