So the premiership season is over and the transfer window is set to open
where do your club need to strengthen and who you looking to sign?
I think we need a top class winger aswell as cover for nando up front
weve been linked with silva and ui think hes just the player we need however i could see staying in spain
carlos tevez...personally i hope we dont sign him....its a lot of money and i can see where hed fit in
we play best with a 4-5-1 formation and there is no way hed replace torres or stevie g
he could maybe play on the right byt kuyt and benayoun have been great for us this season
barry...please dont sign him either...replacing alonso with barry would be madness

things are looking good, though Fergie prob has an ace up his sleeve

You're forgetting young Adem thats coming in January, the boy looks awesome!

i think Zoran Tosic is ahead of him in chances of playing.
as we left him on loan for a year he will be better for it, though dont really know how much he has played this year for Partizan Belgrade.

Adem is a first teamer, being getting on the scoresheet too. I keep hearing he leagues above tosic, he's on loan because he's not allowed to transfer oout of the country until 18. Apprently thats their countries rule...seems a strange one to me. He is expected to break into the international team this year too.

FIFA has rule that porhibits transfers of under 18's too. There's a loophole though, which Man UTD exploit alot (did with Marcheda and the Da Silva twins). That loophole is, the kids can move country, providing their parents do for reasons other than football. Man UTD found jobs for Da silv's father (he's a gardener by trade and think they found him a job with someone or even works on their ground staff at OT and similar thing with macheda). The lazio presidant complained saying that becuase under 18's in italy can't be offered pro terms and big clubs can effectively buy the players parents means they are constantly losing potential top stars.

We need 3 top players as far as I'm concerned, one in each of the 3 areas, sell Adebayor for 20mil, get Tevez in, I'd be happy with that

I hope not. im a big boyd fan. his goalscoring record is out this world. saying that, if birmingham or any other team for that matter came in with a decent sized bid, we r in no place to knock it back. we be skint

but he wants to stay at rangers, as was proven when he could have nearly doubled his wages by moving in january to birmingham but knocked it back

We should bring in David Silva, maybe let Babel go back to Ajax on loan for a season. He has huge potential.. it's just getting him in the team to enhance it. I've heard Raul Albiol could be on the cards also for the long term Carragher replacement.
After watching the UEFA cup games a lot this term, Srna has caught my eye above all. What a talent that guy is, his passing is fantastic, and he likes to get forward. He can also play on either wing as a full back which is a great quality to have.
Tevez is also a possibility, but that would seriously feck up our game plan. Look what happened to Villa.. bring in Heskey and change your 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 and it all goes pear shaped... we should stick to our shape and bring in players who fit the bill.

Not exactly, it's more like bribing parnets. They just give them jobs and maybe buy them a house, that allows them to move to England and thus allows the kids to sign a pro contract with Man UTD. If UTD think buying them a 300k house and getting them them a job might make them 8 mil in the transfer market a few years kater or save them tens of millions by finding the next teenage super star who can play for next 10 years, that's what they'll do.

i think united are almost there, we could do with a few back up players more than anything and with hargreeves and brown coming back, plus as tom said the youngsters another year older i can only see 1 or 2 medium name signings.
if tevez goes tho, we will sign a striker more than likely, for between 10 and 20 million, poss santa cruz

he played right back last season when we won the double.
Neville always got caught for pace throughout his career but his positional play saved him.....something Raphael will learn
