one of the greats sir captain cheers - good directing off the back of a well written story. i really think this is where alot of films got their archetype from for the gentleman assassin. intelligent film too.
i'd say French Connection, this, Parallax view and All the presidents men (perhaps 3 days of the condor) are essential viewing in the 70's espionage oeuvre.
