It has been par excellence thus far. Minor gripes are the exhibitionist parts in the second season (first season excusable) and the slowness of the second season. Given the fast pace of the first season the 2nd season seems a bit tamed. I think they are struggling to find a direction or rather a way to keep the audience on edge with the last 3 episodes. but considering what has taken place thus far I have full confidence that will happen. I love the cinematography the plot, the characters the actors and overall just about every element this show has to offer. It brings back memories of living in the southwest for me, and that alone rocks, as I haven't seen this type of work in New Mexico conveyed so beautifully ever.

the show has made my top 5 list. just wish there was a lil less homefront drama and more drug slangin. last episode almost made up 4 the slow pace set so far. that whole 5 minutes of get money, re~ up and get held up was cool. anyone think pinkman can smoke those meth heads that robbed his boy and not fuck it up???

Please Watch up to s2e05 before reading, in case of spoilers...

Id like to point out an interesting change in character, When Heisenberg (forgot his real name) approached Jesse and asked him to "deal with it", it showed a tremendous change, from when he was at the barbecue in the first episode watching the news of his brother in law's drug raid, and holding the gun like a little girl. Now hes undergoing/gone a change, and what he will turn into if he stays on this course will resemble the drug lords hes already taken down... "Deal with it" shows that hes pretty much gone and hes not turning back, the other murders, can be justified by self defense(with a good lawyer lol) but now hes talking cold blooded revenge.

He seems disgusted by criminals and junkies but he seems pretty at peace with his own dealings with the law, interesting how we draw that line?

nice post dark.
the heseinburg alter ego is pretty dark, and probably a lot scarier than tuco n the rest. he definitely acts like he dont give fuck and has set the bar for scarier a nemesises to emerge. whether thats the dea, or a cartel, the question remains

i love the way that the meth heads were dealt with, it really kept true to pinkmans character.

who is in the body bags????????????
i don't know,i was wondering that myself but i think it might be a recurring dream because i remember seeing that same opening sequence in an earlier episode, season 2 episode 3 i think it was.
sweetjimmy
Those are Walt's glasses they pick up by the pool.....not sure if it's a dream sequence or not.

They are foreshadowing events that will happen in the season finale. At least 3 episodes have shown scenes of an explosion and apparently two body bags at Walt's house. If Walt or his family die then I really cannot see much story past this season. Walt is already locked in the downward spiral. Truth be told, I would prefer them to end it after this season. More seasons might taint it like mad men lost something after the first season.
sweetjimmy
WOW!

So, unless something happens in the finale, she is most likely dead I guess.
Too Bad......I liked her......she was bitchy....& hot.

The season finale should be good.....can't wait!

please help out as much as you can this father of two is in desperate need of a very expensive operation and is financially unable to help himself.

he is a teacher of science and not a meth manufacturer/dealer at all if any of you might have thought that.

Haha, too funny. The writers told us what was going to happen in the season finale. All the episodes that had the foreshadowing footage of the plane crash are named: "737", "down", "over", "ABQ(Albuquerque airport designation)."

The air traffic controller was Jessie's now dead girlfriend's father. The father went nuts and caused a plane accident as a result of the grief of loosing his daughter. The burnt purple teddy and bodies fell out of the airplane crash. The point is that Walt is somewhat responsible because he could have prevented the girls death by not allowing her to suffocate on her own vomit. Walt allowing her to die set of a catastrophic chain of events.

It could be worse, what if someone he knows is on one of the planes?

I also wonder if Walt will ever make the connection that Janes dad was the air traffic controller, im sure they will show him on the news or something...
