Then and Now
Might be a fun way to get to know each other. The first person might post something like: "I used to have long hair, now I have short hair." and so on ... But to make it fun, only tell things that were/are true and that have actually changed.


I'll start,

I use to collect a lot of things, now I only collect a few.

I used to horse back ride all the time, now, not so much (i must really get back to that lol)

I used to play the trombone, now I can't even decypher sheet music...

I used to like the original C.S.I. (Vegas), but not so much now as most of the original cast has been written off the show and the new version doesn't seem to have the appeal as the old now.

i used to sleep, but now i dont

I used to live for music, now I can't stand most of the new stuff coming out.

I second the motion. And Vril's as well -- can't remember the last time I slept more than 4 hours straight - seriously.


I used to take 5 --count them, 5-- sugars in my coffee. Now I drop a half spoonful of honey and some 15% cream. DA-AMn I like coffee.

Before kids, I use to sleep in complete silence. Now, I need background noise like a radio or something, or EVERY little creak or thud wakes me up.... odd that....

I use to go to church when I was younger, and now I don't. Don't see the point in going. You don't have to be there to have faith. You can have everything at home that a church would provide,except maybe the collection plate!

I used to play violin, clarinet, piano, guitar, (and loads of other musical instruments), but now I don't, although i can play Good King Wenceslas on just about any musical instrument I come across............as long as I know where the 'G' is

I used to have all my teeth, now I only have 3/4 of them!!!!!!!!

I used to be young..............now I'm older, lol

I used to drink a lot, now I only do on special occasions.

I used to go out to pubs and clubs, now I discovered it's cheaper to stay in and play with my computer.
